Game Over

Sansa

Sansa and Arya waited by the ports of Kings Landing for Jon and Daenerys to say their farewells. Sansa and Arya were to return to Winterfell in less than a month, to rebuild their broken home and pay their respects to the fallen Northmen and women. And while they had all been burned with those who had fallen during the war against the Night King, it wasn't proper enough if they were not given a send off at their home in The North.

Sansa watched as a boat with several Northmen was stirred up against one of the ports, slowly arriving to wait for the two to board. But as it came closer to them, Sansa's mind began to slow down, as if time itself was folding for a moment.

Everything was changing in less than a blink of an eye, and she herself wasn't ready for so much change. Her surprise could be imaginable after hearing Daenerys's speech of abdication to the people of Kings Landing. Sansa had given her an award for helping her and her people fight against their common enemy, but was more than stunned to later know that the Dragon Queen would not be a Queen just yet.

After her speech, Daenerys formed another, and last meeting with the Lords and Ladies of Westeros. Yara would return to the Iron Islands as their Queen, the Prince of Dorne would utilize a new trade route with Lord Dayne of Starfall, and everything else that had been left unanswered would be answered in the following days.

For now, everyone was just relieved to know that the war was over.

   "Here he comes." Arya said.

Sansa looked up to see Daenerys and Jon walking towards them from the road that led into the city. In front of her, several feet away, were Arton and Vaerya holding their infant son. There was a boat right behind them with Dornishmen and a few Unsullied.

With the war concluded and Daenerys's reign over, she gave her Unsullied a choice to either continue to serve her on Dragonstone or to leave on their own accord. A large handful of grateful, loyal soldiers chose to leave with their Dragon Queen. Others were to go with Vaerya and accompany her and her small family.

Another group of Unsullied, though small and still undecided, chose to sail for Naath.

Jon walked up to his two sisters with a fond smile on his face. Daenerys stayed back to speak with her sister.

"I can't believe everything is changing so fast," commented Sansa. "I didn't expect this, at the very least."

Her brother nodded in agreement. "I doubt anyone truly did."

"You will be there in time, right?"

The smile began to fade from Jon's lips. Bran, along with countless other Northerners, were to be given a proper send off before rebuilding the kingdom. He had no doubt that Bran was going to be buried right besides his other brothers; Robb and Rickon.

"Of course," he said. "Wouldn't miss it for the world."

Sansa nodded a little. "I wish you were coming home with us, but I understand your reasons now. Everything will feel so different without you there." She stated.

"The North is free now, though, thanks to you."

   "But they lost their King."

"Ned Stark's eldest daughter will speak for them. She's the best they've got."

Without warning, Sansa walked to Jon and pulled him into a tight embrace. He hugged her as tightly as she did. It would be some time until they would all meet again, and the travel to Winterfell would be a long, lingering month. But he was willing to pay it in order to see his family again.
