9 • Do you like her?

Ever since they had escaped from Cadmus, Mon-el and Kara had been avoiding each other.

Alex and Mon-el were hanging out at his apartment. "I still can't believe Jeremiah is alive." Alex told him.

"I know, I'm so sorry that he wasn't able to escape with us." "It's fine Mon-el, I just happy to know he's alive and that you were able to escape."

Mon-el smiled but it quickly disappeared. "You alright? You've been a bit off since you escaped from Cadmus."

"I don't know what your talking about."

Alex looked at him.

Mon-el sighed. "Fine, it's Kara, she may have kissed me the night that we went to the bar, but she was drunk so i didn't know if she remembered. I asked her if she remember anything from that night, she said she didn't, so I didn't tell her. But when we were being held by Cadmus, she told that she did remember. We haven't talked since and it's werid and I don't know what to do."

"Wow. That's a lot." Said Alex. "Yeah..."

"Well, do you like her?"
"What? No! Why... why'd you say that?"
"Mon-el, you may not realise it, but I've seen how you look at her. It wouldn't surprise me if you liked her."
"Are you saying I have a crush or something on her?"
Alex shrugged her shoulders. "Maybe, you need to figure how you feel about her. Do you like her as a friend? More than friends?"
"Alex..."

Mon-el was interrupted by his phone going off. He picked it up. "It's Winn, there is an emergency, he wants us both at the DEO."

"Ok let's go."

Alex and Mon-el walked over to John and Kara who where standing with Winn at his desk.

"Winn, what's going on? Why'd you call us?" Asked Alex.

"Ok, do you remember Livewire?"
"Of course, what happened?"  Mon-el asked. "She may have escaped the facility she was being held at."
"WHAT?!" Mon-el said, furiously.

"Am I missing something? Who's Livewire?" Asked Kara.

"She is a meta-human with electrical powers. Where ever she goes it results in death and destruction." John told her.

"Livewire is despicable. She's like my nemesis, I hate having a nemesis." Mon-el said, just before he broke off part of a table he was leaning on.

Mon-el looked at John. "Sorry." John said nothing and just shook his head.

Alarms started going off on Winn's computer screen. "Found her! She's attacking CatCo!"

"Ok got it, I'll go get her." Mon-el said.

"Wait! Kara go with Mon-el, we can't underestimate her this time." John told him.

Mon-el and Kara just look at each other. "Ok let's go." He told her.
