I puked my guts out last night, so I was too lazy to check for mistakes😂
-Gabby's POV-
I got off of work, some run-down, mom-and-pop cafe, around 4. I swung by the pet store to pick up some dog food for my dog, Daisy. My mom text me and asked me to go to the Post Office, but I planned to do that after I got Grace's song book.
I walked out of the pet store and headed over to Graces house. I parked my car and walked up to the plant they leave their spare key in. I unlock the door and walk in. The place had been completely and totally ransacked. I gasp as I look around at everything on the floor, but I don't see anyone in the house. What I do see, is a busted out window next to the back door.
Then, I hear a noise. It sounded like someone walking; they are coming in the living room. I try to move, but it's like my feet are suctioned to the ground.
Then, I hear a shot.
Pain.
My head hitting the cold floor.
A sticky liquid running all down my stomach and into my hand.
Then, everything goes black.

-Graces POV-
I'm in my room, strumming on my guitar, when I hear Luke call my name. I walk out of the door and see that he's on the phone, "What?" I mouth, not wanting to interrupt the call.
"Police." He mouths back and then says, "Okay, yes. She's right here." He cups his hand over the phone and whispers before handing it to me, "They said something happened, but they won't tell me. Said that she had to tell you first, but it sounds bad."
I nod and take the phone, with all 4 boys staring right at me, "Ugh, hello?" I ask as I look around at nothing in particular.
"Yes, Ms. Hemmings? This is Detective Audrey Mason. There has been a development in your case." There is a pause before she continues, "Well, not so much of a development, but something has happened." My heart clenches, knowing whatever is coming, won't be good news.
"What?" I ask, the boys are, still, staring - what seems like - into me.
"Well, your neighbors reported hearing a gunshot today. When Officer Scott got there, we found a girl, umm...Gabby Keefe, I believe was her name." And, I don't hear anything else. I drop the phone and collapse to my knees. The boys rush over to me, asking what's wrong. I ignore them and just pound my fists into the ground, screaming and crying. She can't be gone.
Luke picks up the phone and I can see him talking, but his voice is different. I'm hearing it as if he's underwater. After I see his lips stop moving, his eyes go wide, then they tear up and I know it's true. Then I remember:
It's my fault.
I sent her there.
She was there for me.
I killed her.
