It's complicated

Chapter 6

-Graces POV-

Luke comes into my room at 9:30 saying they are leaving. I get up, shower, get dressed, and prepare for the girls to come over. I clean up me and Calums mess from last night and shut all the boys bedrooms. They are all slobs, it's disgusting.

By the time I get everything prepared, it's 11:40. I haven't eaten so I make myself a bowl of cereal, I finish eating and a couple minutes later the door bell rings. I run to the front door and open it. All the girls are standing there. I hug each of them and invite them in.

"I always forget how amazing this house is" Makayla says, turning it circles while she takes in the huge house.

"Yea, if you ask me, it's a little much for 5 people. Especially since we are never home."

We walk Into the den and I turn the subs on, blasting Nickelback. I jump because it's so loud and turn it down. "D*** those idiots" I say and they all laugh.

"So, how the rock star life?" EmiLee asks me.

"Guys, I'm not a rock star! I barely even have fans"

"Whatever!" Gabby yells.

"Well, have you found a boy on one of these tours around the world." Makayla asks, wiggling her eyebrows.

My eyes go wide and I blush, thinking of me and Calums time last night.

"That's a yes." Gabby says and smirks at me.

"No, I haven't found anyone on tour."

"Your lying!" EmiLee yells.

"No, really! You think I could hide a boyfriend from the media?" I say, trying my best to not give it away.

"Your such a liar. You wouldn't be blushing for no reason. That scientifically doesn't even make sense." Emilee says.

"Guys, come on, why would I hide a boyfriend from you guys?"

"Okay, so what were u doing last night?" Gabby asks me and raises her eyebrow.

I feel my cheeks get even hotter and I hesitate, not knowing what to say. "Oh, I was uh-"

"HA KNEW IT" Gabby screams.

"Wait, you posted a picture of Calum sleeping last night on twitter. ARE YOU AND CALUM DATING!?" EmiLee says and all the girls intensely look at me. Of course. She's the only one that would have made that connection.

"NO! Calum is like a brother to me!"

"Okay, then where were you?"

"I was meeting with Tori, my manager, talking about not just riding along with 5sos on the next tour, but touring with them. Like performing."

"Grace. Just stop. We all know when your lying. Now, you can tell us you were with another boy or you can tell us you were with Calum." Makayla says and, again, they all look at me like this answer could save their lives.

"Okay, fine. Your right, I was with a boy, but it wasn't Calum" I lie. I think of someone I can tell them and the first name to come to mind is Matt. Matt is my exboyfriend. Let's just say that things didn't end well with him. After I started touring, he thought he could get away with hanging out with other girls. And of course by "hanging out" I mean he cheated on me several times. It really hurt me, but all the boys were there to help me through it, and I got over him. I'm better off anyway.

"Then who?" Makayla questions.

"Matt."

They all gasp and I get a "Nuh-uh" from Makayla and EmiLee and a "you idiot" from Gabby.
