CHAPTER 5 — what a perv
armin was by far the most imaginative in the class. constantly brainstorming ideas that questioned titans and humanity itself. hearing about his theories always fascinated you. in a way when he spoke about such topics, you couldn't help but think about hange and how she would instantly befriend armin for having such an imagination.
"holy crap armin your theories are insane. i never even thought about it that way." you said, passing the feather of your pen over your chin every time you nodded in agreement with him.
the smile on armin's face grew. he'd never really talked to anyone about his theories before. of course he had eren and mikasa, but they were never too fond of his theories. eren hated titans with passion so he ever as excited as armin was. then there was mikasa who simply didn't care for them.
you and armin were only able to talk for a bit before the teacher called you out for being disruptive to the class, it made armin freeze. so, the two of you went back to writing the fake: mission report.
it was an elective you and armin choose when you first joined the training corps. it was a short class during the afternoon, just before dinner, that was offered to help cadets file reports that a commander would be in charge of. the class was required for those who wanted to join the survery corps, but it wasn't closed off to just them. it was an extra class offered in the afternoon to give everyone something to do. it was either this or extra training with shadis.
it was a pretty big class to say the least.
eren eyed the two of you. a strange feeling building up inside him. he wasn't stupid. he knew all to well what he was feeling but he couldn't bring himself to admit that he was jealous armin got to be your partner. eren thought it was weird armin volunteered to work with you. you've never been his first choice and you always partnered up with annie, but she choose the extra training class with shadis along with reiner and bertholdt.
