CHAPTER 15 — gone missing
everything was covered in blood. bodies were scattered across the floor as the corpses of titans were slowly decaying, releasing the most blood curling stench.
too much had already happened and now his anxiety was getting worse because he couldn't find her.
the more they looked, the more bodies they found. he it didn't ease the heartache and pain he felt in his chest.
and when he walked farther across the battle field, he saw her, but it couldn't be?! there was no way. he couldn't focus, his eyes widened in shock and he felt his hands tremble as he stared down at her lifeless body.
when reality set it, he fell on his knees in utter disbelief. his chest was hurting, the pain he felt in his heart could've killed him in that single moment, but even so, no tears spilled from his eyes. all he could do was gently grab her body, positioning his hand behind her head and bringing it closer to his body.
her father quickly ran over to the boy, seeing as he was on his knees and holding a body close to him made him worried.
eyes locked onto the body the boy washolding. he heard the boys desperate attempts to wake her up, telling her that he loved her and they could finally be free, together.
the father leaned down, moving the hair out of the girls face and his eyes widened when he realized that the body the boy was holding, was his daughter.
