For the Both of Us - 60 seconds of silence

Fifth wheeling on Valentine's day wasn't fun. 

Over the course of a month Rae's uneasiness started to fade away, either because of desensitisation or, what she prefers to believe in, herself moving on.

But still. 

She looked at the black pistol in her hands whilst hiding in a corner. The guys were, of course, simping for their girls, which left her the option between using her own credits or just go with what she had.

"Michael and I are gonna have dinner now..." Lily said after the appearance of a VICTORY. Rae was the one who aced twice in a row and basically the one who carried the team to this result, but her usual sense of satisfaction didn't appear.

"Shoo shoo, stop bragging your relationship in my face~" Rae laughed it off, "a enjoy your roMaNTiC MeAL."

The absence of the two was soon replaced by... uncomfortable air of awkwardness. On one side was Tina talking with her chat, on the other was Sykkuno and Rae, silent. They were neither on mute nor deafened, but nobody spoke a word.

Even though on another screen, they knew that they were both staring into one another's eyes, unsure of what they were waiting for. Oneself? Or each other?

Silence. 

A total 60 seconds of silence. 

Were there any regrets?

"I'm leaving you two lovebirds alone for now." Rae cleared her throat the chat could start to notice something in between, "Hope that my date with my boy Mika turns well."

He didn't laugh at the joke and looked down.

"So...bye!"
