When Merve's message, warning that Burak had told Selin that he would be her new doctor, arrived for Demir he wanted to drop everything and go to the hospital.

His common sense and his heart fought a battle within him.

While one told him to remember his responsibilities and finish organizing the documents needed for his transfer and settle the last details of his new position. The other claimed that it could all be done later, that he would always have time to organize papers, but Selin might not be willing to listen to him if he was slow to go to her.

Demir was ready to leave everything behind and head to the hospital when his new boss called him asking him to go to his new job to sign some remaining documents. It took all morning and a good part of the afternoon for him to solve everything.

As soon as he was finally free, Demir hurried to the hospital. He feared that Burak had made up another lie about him. Although he was sure that Selin would not easily believe the man's words, Demir could not deny that she was extremely fragile since the night she had that outbreak and, depending on what he had said, the situation would only get worse.

The moment Demir crossed the entrance to the hospital, Azmiye came running to meet him. The receptionist recounted everything that had happened that morning. Demir didn't know exactly what to feel. Semih and Reyhan had talked to Ekram and he knew that the man would be quite capable of trying to make them believe his son's lies.

He went inside the hospital and found Nil leaving one of the rooms. The physical therapist reported that she was extremely concerned about Selin. She also said that she had been forced to give her a sedative, because the news had hit her like a bomb.

— She was no longer feeling very well, Demir. — Explained Nil. — It was the first time I was putting her sitting. You know, nausea and dizziness are quite common in these cases. Burak's words only made it worse.

— It's my fault, Nil. — Demir sighed. — If I had talked to her before this would not have happened. I should have predicted that Burak would take advantage of the situation.

— Don't say that, my friend. You made the decision that you thought was correct. — Guaranteed the physiotherapist. — It is obvious that if Selin had heard from you the situation would have been better, but we both know that she was not yet ready to deal with such news.

Demir silently agreed. Nil spoke the truth. There was no better time to say that to Selin. Her emotional was shaken and her psychological completely unstable. And, as if that weren't enough, she could barely face reality with ease to regain control over her feelings and thoughts.

The moment he entered the hallway of Selin's room, Demir was hit by the girl's cry. He took a deep breath trying to avoid the memories of the last time it had happened, but it was almost impossible. The sensations of that night came back even more intensely.

The mere possibility of seeing that girl cry was enough to make his heart race and unbridled rage take over his mind. Demir had the impression that he would destroy the world if it meant that Selin would never shed a tear again.

He approached the room in large, fast steps. Selin's cry was even worse than the other night. He couldn't say exactly how he was able to perceive this, but it was clear to him that she was suffering.

When Demir finally saw himself at the door of the girl's room, he realized that she was not alone. He noticed the presence of Burak and Ekram in the place, which made his anger increase even more. It was obvious that they had some connection to Selin's tears.

Inside the room, Semih and Reyhan were looking uncertainly at their daughter, who was crying painfully. They didn't seem to know what to do to calm her down. Demir noticed that Merve had been completely paralyzed by the situation. He couldn't blame her, she still kept the trauma from the last time her friend had lost control of her emotions.
