Chapter 7 - Obsession

"Annie?" I walk through the stairs and called Annie.

Where is she? Kanina lang nang nasa pool ako ay nandon lang siya tapos biglang nawala.

"Annie?" I opened my room door but she's not also there.

Bumaba na lang ako nang biglang magsound ng alarm right thru my living room and around the house. The lights around turned red while the alarm sounds on.

What is happening?

"Plinth?" I callee Plinth and he answered me with his analytics.

"Subject Five is experiencing a high level of trauma as her vitals are rising in its normal level. Her brain functions are surrounded with 89% of trauma and her oxygen level becomes critical."

I run through the side door of the house while Plinth is alerting me. I input her tracker vital and once she became critical and her brain functioned not well, I'll be informed and it's now happening to her.

I saw Annie laughing and dive in the pool. Hindi muna nagbukas ang side door sa hindi ko malamang dahilan kaya I manually override my biometrics lock using my PIN.

Fuck it. Sana magbukas na. Ano bang nangyayari sa AI ng bahay ko?

Nang magbukas lakad takbo kong pinuntahan ang pool at narinig ang sigaw ni Johanna.

"Annie, please!"

What is happening between them? And why is she calling Annie?

"Johanna!" I look around the pool and no sign of her floating in the water, instead I saw Annie swimming in it.

"Johanna!" I called her again.

Kinakabahan na akong hinahanap kung nasan siya banda ng pool. Something is really wrong here. Annie get up from the water and looks at me confused. Hindi ko siya pinansin but instead I look for her.

Sa sobrang lawak ng pool at malalim pa ito ay hindi ko alam talaga kung nasan siyang part.

And I saw her there at the right side of the pool, she's been drowning.

Oh, shit!

"Johanna!"

"Alejus..."

"Stay with us. I'll come and get you." I say and automatically I dive deep in the pool to get her.

Mabilis kong nilangoy kung nasaan siya at nakita ko na siyang nakalubog na sa ilalim ng pool, her eyes closed and I wrap my hand in her body and swim up.

"Johanna?" Tinapik tapik ko ang mukha niya but she's not responding kaya mabilis na akong umahon and Annie helped me get her at the side of the pool.

Nang maihiga namin siya ay pinakiramdaman ko na ang bandang ilong niya kung humihinga ba siya, pero wala.

"Johanna?" I ask once again.

This can't be.

Nilingon ko si Annie and she's been so worried and confused too.

"Annie, what did you do?"

"Nothing..." Umangat ang balikat niya.

"Annie, if you did anything to her, if you harm her... I swear to you, you're not gonna like me." I warned while pumping Johanna's chest.

I do CPR but she's not responding at all so I give oxygen through her mouth or mouth-to-mouth her.

"Come on!" I pumped her chest after giving her oxygen.
