Chapter 28 - Wrecked

I maneuvered my car and hurried back to my house, where Johanna is. I drove fast the best I can.

Pagkaliko ko sa dakong street where my house is, I saw Siara's car heading out of the street.

Oh shit! She knows that we're staying here.

Niliko ko agad pakaliwa para hindi niya ako makita at huminto muna ako sa medyo mapunong lugar since my house is surrounded with tall trees.

Nang makalagpas na siya at lumikong pakanan sa labas ay sumunod na akong pumasok sa pinanggalingan niya at dumiretso na kung saan ang bahay ko.

I hurried parking my car in front of the garden and walk out. I got my keys and suddenly when I opened the door, I saw Johanna wiping her tears. I came to hugged and embraced her.

"Johanna..." I called and gave her a firm hug.

She just smiled at me with a sad face while her tears are still falling down. "What happened here Johanna? What did she told you?"

She looked at me in the eye as I try to calm her. I cupped her face and wiped her tears that runs down on her face.

"Are you okay?"

Umiling siya. I saw that she has a bruise on her cheek. My sister again became a tigress. Of couse I know, she slapped her. She slapped my Johanna.

I gritted my teeth. Hindi na dapat mauulit 'to.

"She wants to see you... Alejus you must see your sister. She needs you to build your company again. She wants you to be there."

Ako naman ang umiling. "No. I knew it Johanna."

She looked at me puzzled. "What do you mean? She's looking for you and she found out that you're not there."

"I know everything."

"What is it Alejus?"

Hinila ko siya sa couch. Hinihintay niyang magsalita ako ulit pero hindi ko alam kung saan ako magsisimula.

I was with Paul and he blackmailed my sister too.

"Paul told Siara that we're staying here..." I started.

"That's why she was here. And she told me to let you go. I don't wanna do that Alejus. I can't let you go."

Nangiginig ang mga kamay niya hinawakan ako. I held her hand too and give it a kiss.

"She said that because Paul wants you back. He wants you back Johanna. And he got plans to destroy us, so it's not safe here anymore."

"What are we gonna do?"

I just looked at her. It's hard to tell her and I can't tell her.

"We should leave here." I say now that I looked away.

"Then let's go."

Umiling ako. "You go."

Kumunot ang noo niya sa akin at pilit niyang pinaharap ang mukha ko sa kanya.

"Alejus what are you talking about?"

"I'm sorry..." I swallowed. I gather all my strength not to cry in front of her.
