A/N: Theo is 10

Burr POV:

"What's wrong Theo?" I asked her when I picked her up from school.

"Some people were making fun of me... pulling on my braids and stuff..." she replied, quietly.

I tried to stay calm but anyone who makes fun of my little girl has to pay!

"Who was making fun of you?" I asked. She pointed to a group of boys.

"Those ones. The one in the middle is named George Eaker." She said.

"I'm just going to talk to them, ok?" I asked.

She nodded. I walked over to them. Theo stayed behind.

"Were you making fun of Theodosia?" I asked them.

"So what if we were? You can't do anything OLD MAN!!!" one of the kids said.

I couldn't help myself. I punched that kid right in the face! Only minutes past before I was being tackled by police.

"DAD!!!" Theo yelled.

I am such a terrible father. HOW COULD I BE SO STUPID!!! The policemen stuffed me into the back of their car. They took me down to the station for questioning.

"What are you going to do with my daughter!?" I asked them.

"Well, we're going to put her into foster care wince you're going to be in here for a long time. A very nice family already signed up to take care of her." They replied.

I'm a terrible father. Now my little girl has to go to some random family! I said I would always be there for her. I'm a thief, a liar and now, a public threat.

I let everybody down.
