Theodosia POV:

I was packing my things in me and Angie's room. Mrs. Hamilton had said my father was being released and I would be able to move back in with him!

"A-are you leaving Theo?" Angie asked, walking into her room. We shared a room so it was ok that she just walked in.

"Yeah! My dad got out of jail and I get to go home! I missed him so much and I can't wait to see him and-" I stopped talking when I realized she was crying.

"Angie? What's wrong?" I asked, lowering my voice.

"I don't want you to leave. You already switched to the middle school and I won't see you anymore!" She said quietly.

"Aw Angie. I will still come over to play all the time! And you'll be in middle school soon enough! I'm not deserting you! I promise!" I reassured her.

She smiled and hugged me. I finished packing and brought my bag downstairs.

"Ready to go, kiddo?" Mr. Hamilton asked me. I nodded.

We went out to his car. Philip sat beside me while Angelica stayed home. When we got to my fathers house, Mr. Hamilton and Philip helped me bring my bags inside.

I was about to go inside when Philip grabbed my arm. I turned around and he kissed me! He pulled away after a few minutes but I kissed him back.

"THEODOSIA GET AWAY FROM THAT BOY!!!" I head my father yell. I pulled away quickly and ran into my house, leaving Philip flustered.

Alex POV:

I heard Burr yell something. I could only assume it was about Philip. I looked and saw Theo run into her house while Philip was red.

Oh no. I thought to myself. I dragged Philip back into the car once all of Theos bags were in her house.

"I TOLD YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM BURRS!!! THEY'RE EVIL AND I DON'T WANT YOU TO GET HURT!!!" I screamed at Philip while driving home.

He was silent. I knew I messed up. It's just that I don't trust Burrs and Theo isn't any different than Aaron. I hope Philip learns this before it's too late.
