Burr POV:

I had been in jail for almost 2 years. My sentance was almost over.

"Here you go Aaron, some mush and greens." Said one of the guards, handing me a platter of mashed potatoes and celery.

I didn't much like jail food but it was ok. I heard one of my inmates waking up.

Oh no! Oh no! Oh no! I thought, panicking. My inmate was some guy named Charles Lee? Apparently he shot some people. He was very intimidating.

I shoved food in my mouth. Charles saw I had food and stared me down.

"Aren't you forgetting someone?" He asked me.

I handed him my platter and he at all of my food. I never really got that much food. Luckily, being arrested taught me patience and one of the guards was kind enough to help me. He was kinda my therapist.

I talked to him once a day. He even helped me see the fault in my ways and how to be a better father to Theo. I even get to be let out a month earlier than my original release date for good behaviour!

My release date was approaching and I would get my Theo back! She would finally get away from those horrib- I mean amazingly wonderful Hamiltons!

My only hope is that she didn't talk to that Philip boy too much. I will let her date as long as they follow my rules:

1) break her heart, I break you!
2) ask permission before asking her out on a date
3) don't kiss her on your first 4 dates
4) DO NOT BE A HAMILTON!!!

Simple rules, really.

She was good at following them but she never even had a boyfriend. I was sort of relieved but at least she was still my little girl.

~flashback~

"Daddy!! I want a husband so I can be happy like you and mommy!!!" Theo said, running up to me.

"No boy is ever going to be good enough for you my princess; but one day, you will find your prince charming." I said matter-of-factly.

"I loved someone daddy! His name is Philip and he's a poet! He wrote me a poem just to show it!" Theo said very excitedly.

~end of flashback~

Oh no. Theo loves a Hamilton! I have to get out of here as soon as I am allowed to without breaking out or sneaking out!

My poor Theo.
