With the loud music echoing all over the place, Natasha was sure she would go deaf, but she had no plans on leaving the party anytime soon. She had a very important reason, well, a very important someone that made her not want to move from her place.
The girl tightened her grip on the red cup on her hand, and leaned forward, whispering in Wanda's ear a short answer to what she had asked earlier. Having the ginger's body so close to her made her tense up a bit, in addition to getting closer to her, she could smell the perfume that the girl was wearing and with all her strength she avoided letting out a sigh of pure pleasure. It was so perfect but so intoxicating.
The two girls had been standing there for a while, leaning over each other so they could keep their conversation going. They were at a party their friend Maria had organised, thanks to the end of the school year, all of them wanted to have the opportunity to spend a night of celebration together before going on with their summer holidays. The night had been quiet peaceful and calm until, later on at night, more people began to arrive and what had started as a small gathering of friends turned into the party of the year.
Natasha moved away from Wanda a bit after speaking in her ear, and she could see how the ginger laughed loudly, but the background music overshadowing her. Natasha just watched her shake her head back as a smile spread across her face. The girl smirked as Wanda placed a hand on her shoulder and squeezed it. Wanda leaned towards Natasha, placing her lips close to the girl's ear, making her entire body tense again.
"You're very funny, Nat." She commented, saying her words rather slowly. She pulled away from Wanda and gave her a smile.
Wanda took a long drink from her cup, and before Natasha could answer her back, another hand was placed on the taller girl's shoulder, suddenly all of their friends appearing, as they surrounded the two and joined in the conversation.
Natasha then felt her phone vibrate, confused because the only people that called her were standing with her, she pulled her phone out of her back pocket and walked away from her group of friends. When she finally got away from them, the call had stopped, Natasha checking the number and realising it was her sister. Normally the girl never called her, so she was sure it had to be important.
Natasha looked around and finally found Wanda, the girl frowning at her as her gaze remained on Natasha. The taller girl just smiled at her and pointed to her phone. Wanda immediately understood and walked over to her. Wanda motioned for her to follow, the other girl following her through the crowd, the two entering a less crowded hallway and finally walking through a wooden door that led to a large study room.
"It's Maria's dad's study." Wanda explained, as she closed the door.
Although the sound from the loud speakers were still heard, they were now muffled and seemed to no longer make her deaf, Natasha smiling. She thanked the ginger and prepared to call her sister.
"Hello?" Yelena asked.
"Hey, why did you call me? Everything okay?" Natasha wondered, immediately asking what she needed to know.
"Oh, I'm so sorry. I must've dialled on accident and didn't even notice." Yelena explained.
"Okay, well if you do need anything just call me. See you Yelena." Natasha said.
