Third Person P.O.V

Gone.

Natasha was gone and Wanda believed no one cared about it enough.

*Three Days Ago*

SHIELD had called in the Avengers for a new mission, nothing too new for them. It was supposed to be just another simple mission. Go in and go out. Quickly.

Well that was the original plan.

But who would think that a plan would fail when you're the Avengers?

"What? What do you mean?" Wanda asked, as she removed the black mask off her face.

"I don't think Natasha should be coming with us." Steve repeated, coming back from a mission with Wanda.

"And why not?"

"Because, we are heading to Russia. And although I can trust Natasha, I don't know if she will be able to handle her emotions when we get there." He proceeded to explain.

"She's going to be fine." Wanda answered annoyed, before leaving the jet and heading back inside.

That's what everyone secretly thought. That Natasha was going to somehow explode once they reached Russia and that she wouldn't be good for their mission.

They weren't exactly wrong, but they weren't right either.

"Steve, where is she? Tony?" Wanda repeated through their communication device.

"Wanda, we are trying." Tony answered annoyed.

The mission had gone wrong in all possible ways. They were ambushed by the Red Room as soon as they reached their location, and before they know it, Natasha is lost, with no way to reach her.

"You are clearly not trying enough, or she would fucking be here wouldn't she." Wanda yelled, ready to go and do the job herself.

Soon enough, Tony flies back to the jet and stops in front of her.

"Wanda, stop acting like you know everything. You are a kid, you don't know what you're talking about. This isn't some damn army that got Natasha, this is the Red Room. So stop being so annoyed." He starts scolding her.

"The day someone kidnaps your wife, you can talk okay Stark? Now get out of my way, I need to find Natasha." Wanda says before flying off the jet.

Finding Natasha definitely wasn't easy, but Wanda didn't give up, and she wasn't going back home without her. So, when she saw a bunch of red hair, her heart dropped and she finally felt like she could breathe.

She ran towards her, grabbing her head and taking in her face as if it was the last she would ever see her. Natasha relaxed in her hands, Wanda immediately making both girls stand and running away with her, before anything could happen.

Natasha was back home, safe and sound. And it was all thanks to Wanda.

The team had been on edge all around the compound, since she had returned, they weren't sure what to say. Wanda still hadn't forgiven them for giving up so easily on Natasha, she probably never would.

The entire team found themselves together for the first time in days, when they were outside Natasha's hospital room, waiting for any possible updates they could be given. She had already been tested for all possible things, and gladly she tested negative for all of them.
