The night is young, as people say.

Natasha was about to head back over to her friends, when someone bumped into her really hard and made her spill most of the drinks she had been carrying. She swore at them violently, but the jerk was already long gone.

However, she was determined not to let that little incident ruin her night out, so Natasha simply shook her head and made the rest of her way to the table in the corner, where she last saw her friends standing.

"Hey, Romanoff! Over here!"

Sam yelled, the boy was wearing a dark sleeveless shirt and jeans, waving at her a little to the right from where Natasha stood.

The blonde girl herself was wearing a tight grey shirt and dark jeans, and somehow her entire outfit was still intact as she had in some way managed to avoid spilling the drinks all over herself in the process of bringing them.

Natasha shot her friend a grin and walked over, noticing that Sam was the only one left from their previous large group of friends. She handed him his cup, and Natasha took a sip of her own, both of them looking out at the crowd.

"So, where are the others?" Natasha asked as she looked around herself, but the crowd was too big and she couldn't spot anyone familiar.

"Well, they're all somewhere around here. That I do know." Sam said, Natasha looking at him amused.

"What do you mean?" She asked curious.

"Well, Tony and Pepper walked into that crowd to dance, so they're over there. Steve and Bucky went to the bathroom a few minutes ago and I really don't want to know what they're doing over there." He said, a loud laugh escaping from her lips at his last comment. "Maria, Carol, Hope and Yelena are also somewhere dancing." He added.

"Okay, and Wanda?" Natasha asked after a few minutes of silence between the two.

"I think she went off with some dude, but they were here just a second ago, can't be that far away." Sam yelled over the now incredibly loud music, his cup already empty and a smug smirk plastered on his face.

Natasha flashed him an awkward smile and danced half-heartedly to the music as she kept looking around, more out of curiosity than anything else. Tonight was supposed to be a chance for the eleven of them to lay back, relax, and enjoy themselves as they were all up to their throats in college finals and exams.

Also, they had all agreed to make Wanda come with them, even by force if necessary, for the girl was not only fed up with studying but she still kept moping around after her most recent break up with her long term boyfriend, Thomas.

Natasha hope her best friend was having a great time, she knew that the red head deserved as much. And although she wished all the best things for her friend and she wished she was happy, seeing her in a joyful state with someone else was definitely not the same thing to Natasha.

She subconsciously gripped her cup tighter as her eyes landed on the couple standing a few feet away from her.

Between all the dancing bodies, she could see Wanda pressed up against a stranger as they both moved in sync with the music. The red head was wearing a black tight fitted crop top along with black leather skirts which hugged her body just perfectly. She looked beautiful and Natasha would say that forever but that was one of her last thoughts at the moment.
