You walk into the kitchen, holding the bag of banana bread out towards Alex. You smile as you see his face light up at the sight of the bread.

"Fuck ya! Banana bread timeeee"

He runs over, grabbing the bag from your hand and pulling out a slice of the bread. You walk towards your room, setting your wallet on your dresser and walk back to the kitchen. Alex is already almost done his first slice of bread as you return.

"Sooo, tell me everything. I want every last detail"

You laugh as you pull out a chair to sit down, like always, Alex was going to be full of questions.

"He's really cool. I mean I had an amazing time. We actually have a lot in common. He was telling me about his tattoo and how he plays piano. He's really cute."

You feel warm recounting the date and start to prepare yourself for a thousand questions.

"So who payed? And where did you go after, you were gone too long just to be at the cafe? Did he hurt you at all?"

You chuckle at his mass of questions, but you're honestly excited to answer them.

"I forced him to let me pay, you know how I am about that. Took some convincing but he let me in the end. After that we just went to the park and sat on one of the benches. He was holding my hand which was honestly really cute. And no, he didn't hurt me you nimrod. He actually walked me home and..."

You trail off, not sure if you should finish your sentence. You can't just tell Alex you kissed him, but could only think of Nick in his place. Sure you really liked Kyle, but Nick just wouldn't leave the back of your mind.

"Oh my god! You kissed him!"

You try and hide your blush as he throws the napkin from the banana bread at you. You catch it and throw it back, smirking.

"Ya and what about it tough guy?"

You chuckle and get ready to run, he had nothing stopping him from tackling you. He pushes his chair with his heels and throws himself towards you.

"You know you're just gonna lose"

He just laughs pushing your hand away from his shoulder. As always, he gives up, you ending up victorious.

"Thanks for the bread, I was worried you were gonna forget. But I'm glad you had a good time. I guess Kyle is ok... For now"

You let go of tension you didn't know was there hearing him say that. You wanted more than anything to be supported by your best friend.

"I could never forget your banana bread idiot- wait Alex... shit, the stream"

His eyes snap open wide as he remembers the stream you had planned with George, tubbo and Wilbur. You look down at your watch and realize you're almost an hour late. You both rush towards your office and quickly join the vc.

"Oh, look who decided to show up"

You can hear tubbo chuckle as Wilbur makes that comment. You felt really bad being late, they had been planning this stream for almost a week now.

"Yeahhh, my bad. I had a lot on my plate today and managed to distract quackity with some of it"

They had been doing their best to keep chat entertained while they waited for us by playing some bedwars. You both log into the game and join the server they made for the mod George coded.

The stream went really well. The audience seemed to enjoy their struggle as they tried beating the game. Everytime they took damage, a random person would drop whatever they were holding. There was just a bit of yelling. George even got a noise complaint when he screamed after you caused him to loose a diamond pickaxe.
