In the Gang (Sapnap x reader)

So this is about Kyle and stuff. Also keep in mind, I don't know much about law and stuff so this will probably be wrong in some places.

"you ready to go?"

Alex grabbed the folder on the table, looking over at you and Nick. Nick had flown back to you guys to stand in court against Kyle. One of the guys who had helped Kyle when he assaulted you and beat up Nick was coming to pick you guys up. He felt extremely guilty and confessed everything Kyle did to you guys. He decided to fight on your side.

"I think so. Is Jack here?"

He nods, and you and Nick stand up. You feel his hands are a bit wet with sweat from nerves. You lean up, whispering to him.

"Hey, it's gonna be okay. Alex and I are here. And, Jack is gonna help a lot."

Nick leans down, kissing your forehead lightly. He takes a deep breath, looking at Alex.

"Can I talk to y/n alone for a second."

Alex nods, zipping up his jacket as he walks out to join Jack. You look at him.

"What's up?"

He pauses, taking your hands into his, looking you in your eyes.

"I just... I just wanted to say, I love you."

Your face flushes with colour, a smile spreading across your face. Sure you guys had only been actually dating for two weeks, some would say that you were moving too fast. But for you guys, this was almost slow.

"I love you too Nick."

You let go of his hands, reaching up to wrap your arms around his shoulders, kissing him deeply. This kiss is long and passionate, both of you pushing as close to eachother as you can. Eventually, you reluctantly pull away from the kiss, looking Nick in the eyes.

"Ok, we gotta go."

You grab his hand and pull him to the car. You slip into the back seat, smiling at Jack. Alex looks back at you and Nick.

"That pink lipstick looks good on you Nick."

Nick blushes, pulling his hood up to hide his face. You giggle, touching your own slightly puffy lips. Alex roles his eyes and looks back ahead of him. The rest of the drive is quiet, Alex and Jack talking seriously about the plans for the case, you and Nick silently looking out the window. Eventually you pull up to the court house and get ready to walk in.

As you walk over to sit, you see Kyle sitting at his table, his head hanging down as he taps his heel. You breath in, looking over your pages with your lawyer one last time.

The case went well. After Kyle saw Jack stand against him, he broke, confessing to everything. His confession lowered his sentencing a bit, but he still ended up with 4 years in prison, with parole in 2 years. He was charged for aggravated assault and stalking, but his lawyer managed to argue his way out of him getting 10 years which was initially issued. As you sat in the car, calming yourself after what happened, Nick grabs your hand. You can't help but cry.

"Woah, what's wrong?"

You look at Nick, who pulls you into a hug. You steady your tears enough to speak.

"I don't know. I think it's a bit of relief mixed with, regret I guess. I just can't believe I ever loved Kyle. How could I love someone like that? How could I let him hurt you?"

Nick rubs circles on your back.

"Hey, it's okay. You didn't know he was like this. It's not your fault, people can hide stuff really easily. You couldn't have known. And it was my fault, I should have told you about the texts."

You wipe the tears from your cheeks and look at Nick.

"Can we agree that it was neither of our faults?"

He nods, lightly placing his chin on your head. Alex and Jack soon join you guys in the car. Alex looks back at you guys, and Jack.

"What about we get some ice cream?"

You smile, nodding as he turns to put his belt on.

"I'm paying!"

Alex looks at Jack.

"No way Jack, I'm paying!"

You shake your head, laughing. Jack starts the car, still arguing with Alex. They fight the entire five minute drive over to the ice cream shop. They finally decide on Jack paying, but Alex invites him to stay with you guys and watch a movie to make up for it.

Alex orders rocky road, Jack gets vanilla and you and Nick share mint chocolate chip (if you don't like mint chocolate chip, you have no respect from me). You all dig into your ice cream, barely speaking as you all shovel it down. You pile back into the car, driving back home.

"So Jack, what kind of movies are you into?"

"Uh, literally anything, I focus more on the cinematography than the actual story."

Nick looks at you, knowing what you're about to say.

"No way! So do I and no one ever gets it!"

You walk over to Jack and start talking about all kinds of movies and their cinematography. Nick looks at you, smiling. He loves seeing you talk about something you love.

"Ew, you're so in love."

Nick shoves Alex, blushing.

"Shut up, you're just jealous."

"Why would I be jealous, I have Taylor Swift?"

Nick laughs, walking to sit on the couch.

"In your dreams."

Alex and Nick then began to fight, Nick using his height advantage to pin Alex down. You and Jack look at them, chanting 'fight'. You all eventually calm down, sitting to watch the movie. Alex and Jack took the chairs on either side of the couch, you and Nick taking the couch.

A/N

Ok, so I looked up some charges Kyle would get quickly and 4 years seemed good enough. I have no idea how long he would actually get but let's just vibe with it.
