Chapter 42

Klaus POV.

After coming back from the bayou, I didn't expect to come home to this.
I came back to Damon drinking, Bonnie worried and my siblings arguing.
"Calm down, bad news?" I asked

"We are way passed bad news. One of those witches put her paws on the twins." Rebekah says heated

"They're okay?"

"Yes, Tiana is up there with them now." Freya explained.

I was about to go upstairs before they stopped me.

"Maybe we should call Hayley and Elijah. And they can..." Kol was saying before I cut him off.

" No! They're fine where they are. Hope, Hayley and Elijah stays out of this until we absolutely need them." I said and continued up the stairs.

As I walked to the nursery it was quiet, like there wasn't even anyone up here.
I opened the door to Tiana on the floor cradling the twins. Her eyes were filled with tears. I insteadly felt rage, who ever tried to get their hands on them is going to be dead by tomorrow.

"Tiana. Look at me." I said sitting down with her.
She looks up at me and it broke my heart to see her like this.
"I promise, they'll have to get passed me. And I'll will not rest until you, Tatiana and Mailk is safe." I said

"Klaus.." ,she started to say but started crying, "I was downstairs and I've shouldn't have left this room with out them."

"You didn't know, love. None of us didn't think they'll try to come when we left. It's not your fault." I tried to explain.

I just sat there with her for as long as I had to. I just felt bad because none of us though they would have been able to get in our home undetected.

"So what's the plan?" Freya asks

All of them turned to me for a thought or an idea. I could only think of one thing.

"No Mercy. Who ever trys to come near them. We tried talking it out, now we're going back to how I used to run things." I said.

"What about the witch that got in their room.?" Davina asks.

"Don't worry about her. I'm going after her." Tiana says from behind me.
"No. I got it." I said turning around.

"Why not? They wanted war they're going to get it. I'm not a damsel in distress, Klaus." She says

"What about the twins?" Bonnie asks her.

"They can stay with Aunty Freya. Can they?" She asked Freya.

"Of Course." Freya answers

"Anyways your going to need my help to find her or him. Remember I can read minds." Tiana says looking back at me.

"Alright, but when I say run you run. No matter what." I explained to her

"No matter what. Okay." She says

We went to the cemetery where the covent stays. It's like the expected us to be there. There was a huge group of witches as we walked in the main space. We spotted the leader insteadly.

"Kate, isn't it?" Tiana started the conversation.

"Yes, and give me one reason not to take you down." Kate says threatening Tiana.

"Umm. Maybe because if you did your Covent is going to suffer greatly from your mistake." Tiana said confidently.
Is it werid to say that I love this side of her.
"Kate, let's just make this easy. Tell us who was in the twins room and we'll be on our way." I stated.

"Klaus Mikaelson, you no place here to make demands." Kate says raising her hand.

Tiana cased a spell before she could. "An tonto a pu list." A mimic spell.

"Aww, now you can't do anything I don't want you to," Tiana explains, "so let's see who was in my kids room. She finishes making the two of them walk towards each other.

Tiana went inside her head for a bit and insteadly look at who it was. It was a lady around in her 20's.

"What's your name? Before an angry mother tears your throat out." I said and all of them got tensed. They looked like they were going to try something but decided not to start just yet.

"Danelle." The lady answered

"Why? Because it looks like your leader signed you right up to die." Tiana asked.

"I had no choice, you're species to fear. The ancestors want you gone." Danelle explained.

"So go tell them, that I don't care what they believe stay away from my family." Tiana says and with a snap killed her.

All the witches started up they're little chanting. And high pitched ringing started. I'm highly over them doing that. I looked over to Tiana and she was in horrible pain. I was going to stop them but Tiana screamed.
Not just any scream, a scream that sent all of them flying, for a while longs. Her scream was louder than their high pitched ringing. And her eyes glowed, they glowed a hazel color. They were beautiful.

"Tiana."

"Let's go."
