 Elijah's POV:

"We would never make it out if I hadn't Andrea."

"I asked  you Eli. Verbally."  She said. " If you had mentioned you were wounded, Gail could have easily taken your place." She gritted her teeth as she glared at me.

"You know it hurts her to wound a living being An. She's a healer for a reason. You know it would have sucked out a part of her soul to kill that wulver." I said.

"Gail knows of her duties,  Eli. She knows it and would prefer to have fought than have her only brother, wounded, fight him."

I winced as the boy near me pressed a little to hard on my abdomen.

I glanced at him to see him mumble an apology as he kept his head bent.

"I risked my entire being when I entered this quest, Eli.  I'm warning you, this is the last time you try making me or Gail priority during a life threatening situation to any of you." She warned, her eyes glowing in power.

I stayed silent.

"Is that clear, Elijah?" She said more forcefully, her voice filling with command and power.

I smirked at her. She's going to make a fine Empress one day, regardless of whether I would get to see it or not. I turned from her and I could practically feel her anger raising, but a small grumble shifted our attention.

"Andrea. May I rest?" Abigail growled out.

I tried to stifle a laugh. The Healer Boy next to me also chuckling softly. My attention shifted from the now guilty looking Andrea to Healer Boy next to me. His chuckles stopped immediately as he sensed my  attention on him.

As the cave grew quiet once more I looked at Andrea who was looking at Nate. I raised my eyebrows. She looked up at me, raising her eyebrow in question. I smiled at her trying not to laugh as her cheeks grew redder in the light of the flames in the middle of the cave.

Speaking of, she never did tell us if they were a thing.

So, is that our next Emperor I'm seeing?  I asked through our minds.

Her flaming cheeks somehow got even redder. She rolled her eyes and whispered,
"You're not off the hook Eli."

I grinned. My attention snatched by Healer Boy once more as she went back to running her hands in Nate's hair.

"So what's your name and story?" I asked him in a low voice.

His head shot up, red coloring his cheeks.

I stared at it then back at his eyes.

"My apologies, Prince Elijah, My name is Isaac."

My lips turned up a little at the corners, "Nice name, Isaac. Thank you for patching me up." I remarked, watching as his cheeks grew just as red as Andrea's.

"Yes Isaac. Thank you for helping patching Elijah up from the wounds he got from being stupid." Andrea said in a loud whisper.

I rolled my eyes, annoyed, until I heard Isaac chuckling next to me. I turned to look at him and it stopped those chuckles soon enough.

I sighed.

"Do we know what and when the next Trial is? Did we not just finish an entire one of the 5?"

"It begins when it wants to Eli, we cant just demand for the next one as if we were waiting for our dish at a restaurant." Andrea whispered, sighing.

I nodded. Isaac finished whatever he was doing to my wound and got up. Andrea's eyes shot up to his action.

"I'll go get some fresh air outside! I- uh- haven't gotten a chance to go out in a fair while." He mumbled walking out, running his hand through his quicksilver mop.
