"Damn you Elijah!" I yelled, as I cut myself on the broken ceramic.

Elijah's face paled from what I could see near the entrance.

Idiot.

Abigail and I were sitting near the crashed ceramic, cleaning it up. Gail was in charge of cleaning the lunch and I was cleaning up the broken mess.

Why you might ask? Well, Father thought that it would be good for us to learn a lesson to never waste food. Which was stupid, because the one who had spilt the food was sitting inside with Nate was ,eating lunch contentedly, while Gail and I were cleaning up the mess Elijah had made.

"You are gonna pay once I'm done, brother, so you better tell your prayers now!" I snarled, albeit half heartedly.

"Don't worry Eli, I'll protect you." Nate said.

I rolled my eyes. I swear my eyes will get stuck in my head once, with the number of times I'm rolling them...

Nate and Elijah had instantly stricken a bond, the traitor leaving me to go to Nate's side.

But Gail had stuck by my side, although I knew she was dying to go there as well..but she was too nice to just leave me there.

I actually felt comforted. My siblings had taken well to Nate. Atleast there was no hostility there...

"Keep cleanin' An." Nate yelled.

"Keep dreaming, fool." I yelled back.

Abigail and Elijah were looking at us, smirking. Gail. Was. Smirking.

Spicy food with sprinkles.

That never happend.

Damn.

"Gail, wanna help me with my injury?" I asked her.

She smiled and nodded her head dragging me with her, careful of the cut.

Nate started laughing when he saw me. I furrowed my brows.

"You called a cut an injury?! What would you call breaking your hand,Your highness."

"I think I preferred you when you were unconcious." I muttered, causing Gail to giggle.

"Ouch, An. That hurt." He said, wiping away a fake tear.

I smiled cheekily.

"Hurting you is my job, fool." I said.

Liar, my mind retorted.

Nate rolled his eyes.

Abigail was looking at us, bemused.

I threw a pointed look to my hands.

She jumped. She obviously had forgotten. Wow.

"Am I honestly that entertaining? I should quit from being a Heritor and just join a moving circus." I remarked.

"I'll join you!" Nate said, eyes excited.

I scowled at him.

"Nate, just sleep." I said."You are actually getting on my nerves now."

"My pleasure,An" he said, grinning.

Eli burst out laughing. Abigail was trying to remain focused as she cleaned my hand, but her hand kept shaking with the effort of holding in a laugh.

Oh whatever.

A week and a half had passed by. Nate was finally allowed to come out of the infirmary, but he was not allowed to do any "strenuous exercises that may weaken his body further." The doc's words. Not mine.
