"How are you today, Troye?"

"I wanna see my daughter."

"I know, honey," the nurse sighs sadly. "We can't allow you out of bed yet though."

"When the fuck will I be allowed? It's been two days and I have yet to see my baby."

"When you're healed more."

"How long will that take?! I just want to see her!"

"Tro," Jacob says softly, grabbing his boyfriend's hand and squeezing.

Tears run down Troye's cheeks and he sniffles, "I just want to see my daughter. Why is that too much to ask?"

It pains Jacob to see Troye like this. His boyfriend was an emotional boy, but never has he seen him this emotional. And it's not like he didn't understand why. He wants to see their daughter too. Although he is actually allowed to, he promised himself he wouldn't see her unless Troye was there to see her too.

The nurse sighs, and Jacob notices that she looks as if she herself was about to cry. She leaves the room leaving the two boys alone again.

"Sweetheart," Jacob whispers as Troye shuts his eyes and lies his head back on the pillow.

"What?"

"How about we run through the list of names? We haven't chose one yet."

Troye sighs, "Sure."

"I know you don't like Mya. So how about Holland?"

Troye shakes his head.

"Isabella?"

Troye thinks for a minute before shaking his head again.

"Laurelle? I think your mom would be happy to-"

Troye shakes his head, cutting Jacob off.

Jacob sighs softly and lifts Troye's hand to his mouth. Kissing the back of it, he watches as the door opens and a doctor and nurse walk in.

"Hi, Tyler, how are you today?"

Troye keeps his eyes shut and sighs.

"He's hanging in there," Jacob says. "Kind of."

"Well, you'll be happy to know you get to see your daughter."

Troye's eyes open at that.

"You'll need to stay in a wheelchair, but you can see her now."

Troye looks at Jacob with a smile. Jacob smiles back.

The nurse pushes in a wheel chair and Jacob stands up from the chair he was in. Carefully lifting Troye from the bed, the nurse rolls the metal pole connected to Troye IV as Jacob carries him to the wheelchair and sets him in it gently. Instantly he grabs the handles before the doctor or nurse could.

"Troye, look at her. She's so beautiful, isn't she?"

"She's so tiny," Troye squeaks.

"Ten fingers, ten toes, two beautiful eyes, and a cute little nose. Just like her daddy."

Tyler turns his head to look at Jacob who leans down and kisses his forehead.

"Would you guys like to touch her? You aren't allowed to hold her just yet, but you're more than welcome to...pet her, I guess you could say."

"Please."

"Behind you there is some sanitizer to put on your hands before just as an extra safety precaution."

"I like this place," Jacob whispers, appreciating the sanitizing they have people do before even entering the NICU as well as while they're in.

Both boys rub their hands with the sanitizer as the nurse opens the small doors on the incubator that their daughter is in.

Nervously, Troy sticks his arms through the doors. He lets out a small breath before gently cupping his daughter's head in his left hand, his right index finger softly rubbing her tiny right hand.

"Oh, Bailey," Troye whimpers as tears fill his eyes. "I love you so much. I told you not to come just yet, honey. You weren't ready."

Troye carefully strokes her head with his thumb as Josh speaks, "Tro?"

"Hm?"

"Did you just say Bailey?"

"Oh. Yeah, I-I guess I did."

Jacob smiles, "Bailey it is."

Tears fall as Troye looks up at Jacob.

Jacob leans down and kisses his lips, "I love you, Troye."

"I love you."
