Troye walks into the living room where his husband and daughter are watching cartoons. Sitting down on Jacob's lap, he sighs. Jacob smiles and kisses his cheek.

"Ready?" Jacob whispers.

Troye nods and Jacob turns down the TV.

"Haybail, we gotta talk to you for minute."

Bailey looks up, her wide brown eyes full of curiosity. Jacob smiles, loving the fact he could see his husband when he looked at her.

"How would you feel about having a baby brother or sister?"

"No t'anks."

The married couple is taken back by the blunt answer.

Jacob huffs out a laugh, "Well okay."

"Bailey, why don't you want a sibling? You'll have someone to play with all the time."

"I have f'iends, daddy."

"Yeah, but why not have even more friends? That live with you. It'll be like having a sleepover every single night!" Troye says, trying to sound excited.

"I's otay, daddy."

Troye sighs and stares at the toddler as she turns back to the cartoon on the TV.

"She is so your daughter," Jacob whispers jokingly.

Troye glances at him before standing up off his lap and walking away. Jacob sighs, "Babe, I didn't mean-"

He shuts up as he hears the bedroom door shut. Leaning down, he presses a kiss to Bailey's temple before standing up and walking back to the bedroom.

Jacob walks in cautiously, "I'm sorry, Troye. I didn't mean it in a bad way. I was just joking about-"

"Her sassiness, I know," Troye interrupts. "I'm not mad, I just...I thought she'd be more excited I guess."

Jacob walks over to the bed and lies down beside the blond, "Well...it's probably a lot to take in. Y'know? Being an only child is the only thing she knows. Having someone else around the house is probably insane to her."

"Yeah...Sorry, I'm just...I don't know. I'm tired."

"I'll let you take a nap," Jacob says quietly, pecking the boy's forehead.

Jacob sighs softly as he carries a plate of food to the bedroom. Walking through the door, he hears his husband throwing up in the connected bathroom. Setting the plate down on the nightstand, he walks to the bathroom and kneels down beside him.

"I did not miss this," Troye says, lying his head on his arm on the toilet seat.

Jacob rubs his back and offers a small smile, "It's okay. It didn't last very long last time. Hopefully it won't this time either."

"Hopefully," Troye repeats. He whines before puking again into the bowl.

"Do you think you can eat something? Or will it just come back up?"

"I think it'll just come back up. I don't want to risk it."

"Okay. Well I'm gonna run down to the gas station down the street and get you some Gatorade, alright? We don't need you dehydrated."

"M'kay. Thank you, hubby."

"It's my pleasure, sugarplum."

"Are you taking Bailey?"

"Nah, she's asleep in her room."

"M'kay."

Jacob kisses the blond's head carefully before standing up and leaving the bathroom.
