Noodle Fingers

Zelda stood in front of the door to her house with the snow swirling behind her. She was beginning to feel the familiar weight, that had been absent for most of the day, come back. She decided to stall by pretending she was going to check the mail. Everyone thought that the governor lived in a specific residence, the Executive Mansion. This was, however, a front; they actually lived in a gated neighborhood. Her house was a gray stone and Victorian style in the build shape. It looked like a castle, it even screamed foreboding.

Once she was back on the porch she gathered all her courage and walked through the door. She stood still and looked around for a moment right before everything went black.

Sunday, November 29th

Zelda blinked slowly and her hand went up to her head. She saw a bright white ceiling with fluorescent lights that looked nothing like the outside of the house and Zelda knew exactly where she was. She groaned slightly. "Not again," Zelda said quietly to herself.

"Ah so the lovely troublemaker decided to join the world again," a voice said in her ear, way to close.

She yelled and pushed Ghiriahem back but he merely laughed and said, "Good morning, lovely girl. How do you feel?"

The man was, honestly, disgusting and probably had a pedopilia count on him. His black hair was greasy and he was always wearing a completely white outfit with some blood red accessory, today it was his lab coat.

She answered honestly, "Disgusted."

"But of course the little girl doesn't like it when I'm too close. You shouldn't be uncomfortable; I've seen all of you."

"Don't remind me," Zelda said, remembering what she had been forced to show this man through her years of physicals.

Ghirahim just laughed and said, " You've been out for twelve hours and your father says he's done with you and you can do what you want now."

"Like now and forever?"

"No silly little girl, just until you mess up again so I would be careful."

Zelda just said, "What's the prognosis Doctor Creeps?"

"First off watch your language or I might just do a number on you but health wise only a bruise but it's hidden under your hair so you are free to leave."

So Zelda got up and left.

Later that afternoon

Zelda walked into the diner and looked around, thinking it was odd that the booths were all empty at two in the afternoon.

Aryll rose up from whatever she had been digging for looking confused at the footsteps in the restaurant. She saw who it was and said, "Zel!"

"Hey, Aryll!" Zelda said smiling.

"Are you here to eat?" Aryll asked even though the place was technically closed.

"No, I would like a milkshake though."

"Of course," Aryll said happily, "Now where on earth did my brother hide those darn menus again?"

"Weren't they by the milkshake machine yesterday?"

"AHA yes, thanks Zel!"

"No problem, um, where's your brother?"

"Oh he went to the storage shed to find some Christmas decor. Why? Do you think he's cute?"

"Oh my goddesses, I completely forgot Christmas was coming up!" Zelda said deciding to ignore the second question.
