Those aren't Supposed to Exsist

Up above: Wednesday, December 23

"This is the correct house right?" Paya asked.

Revali, Aryll, and Paya were sitting in Paya's car outside a pink house with white trim and blue nightshade in the flower bed. Aryll flipped through the notes she had on her phone and responded, "Yes this is her last known address. They stopped keeping tabs on her once she divorced her husband as usual."

Revali jumped out of the car and said, "Then what are we waiting for! Let's go!"

The group walked up to the front porch and rang the doorbell. A lady with blond hair pinned behind one ear opened the door. "Hello kids, how can I help you?"

Paya shrunk back due to her shyness but Aryll pushed her forward forcing her to answer. Paya pulled out an I.D. that had the red eye on it and the woman gasped, "Oh my goddesses! You're part of the Sheikah. I haven't heard from you people in years, my name's Cotera by the way."

The group walked into the house and noticed 2 pets, a blue-grey rabbit and a pink bird. She waved in their direction and said, "The rabbit's Blupee and the bird's name is Fairy. Would you guys like anything to drink?"

Paya, knowing she had to put her shyness aside because of Aryll, said, "Erm, no-no thanks ma'am. Um we're here to discuss your child-children."

Coreta slumped. "So you figured out who I am and need to discuss them with me."

Revali butted in, "Who you are?"

"Darn it, I gave myself away didn't I. I suppose I now have to tell you?" she sighed.

Aryll said, "Yes, we know to know everything about you because we need to know everything about your children including their bloodline."

"This is something no one knows about me except my ex-husband, Sada. My sisters and I are the Great Fairies. You, most likely, know we are a huge part of your land's history but you don't know is we lied to you about something that now appears necessary for you to know. We are not cousin's of the fairies in Hyrule; we are the fairies of Hyrule. Hyrule used to be the European continent of this world, we fled that continent when Link and Zelda died and Carl became king. We knew him right before he even met the royal family. Carl forced us to use our magic to create an object that would make Lily love him. We did this because we were under the threat that he would kill us all if we didn't. If we were to die this world would be launched into chaos as we are children of the Lord of the Mountain which means we control the seasons. I control the spring, Mija the fall, Kaysa the winter, and Tera the summer. We fled to North America where the Sheikah girl, Liz, found me here, where I had placed my fountain. She begged me for help and I decided I would but I didn't know where my sisters were so I told her to find them. It turns out Mija was in Oregon, Kaysa in Alaska, and Tera in Florida; we met in South Dakota and created the cave that the leader, Impa, wanted. She also had us create two exits on the coasts, one in California and the other in D.C. We've lived in peace ever since."

Paya, Revali, and Aryll were silent for a moment all thinking "Liz? That's her name, huh. Wait does this mean that Liz will die?" Aryll broke through everyone's thoughts by saying, "What does that make Lana and Cia?"

Coreta licked her lips, "My sister's and I aren't sure because I'm the first of my sisters to have kids. They do have magic but neither know yet to my knowledge. I'm scared though, Cia seems to share the opposite of the goals of myself and my sister's while Lana shares those goals. What was the subject about them you wanted to discuss?"

Revali said, "Fairy lady, I'm sorry to burst your bubble but one of your daughters does know. Cia has been involved in magical activity for the Yiga since the age of fifteen. She seems to have been involved in kidnapping Lana and Mipha."

Coreta stared out the window and sighed, "I should have expected this but I trusted her too much. Sada must have told her what she was and convinced her to join. I'm so sorry."

"Do you know where they may have been taken?" Paya asked.

"Maybe one of the entrances to the tunnels, the Yiga seem to congregate around those. My husband wanted to move to D.C. before I realized who he was becoming. I, obviously, can't move because of my fountain being here, and I still have not fully recovered from the last time I moved it. You have no idea how hard it is to move a freaking cactus flower! They are so finicky about the way they have to be picked up."

Revali said, "We should probably call Liz and inform her of that."

"What, the tunnel or how to move a cactus flower?" Aryll teased, even though she was hoping to visit the fairy later and ask about the cactus flower moving.

"Right," Paya said and pulled out a Sheikah slate, tapped a few buttons and a voice that made Coreta tense came out, "Hey, Paya! Do you have more info for me?"

"Yeah," she quickly relayed the fact that Lana and Cia were daughters of a Great Fairy, a little of the Great Fairies' history, and that the girls' suspected location was D.C.

"Ok, I'll punch that into the system. Wait where in D.C.?"

Coreta said, "The tunnel entrance is under the capitol building. Lots of magical locations have a monument over them. I think the Eiffel Tower is over Dad's house."

"Really!" Liz exclaimed. "We need to meet for coffee or something after this to discuss this!"

"Of course, dear," Coreta said but she was thinking, "I hope she doesn't meet the same fate as her predecessor for years to come."

"Alright, we're at the CCS now so I have to let you guys go, talk to you later," and with that Liz hung up.

"Thank you Coreta. I'm sure your," Paya began but she was interrupted by a loud exclamation.

"WHAT THE HECK!" Aryll shouted, staring at where the bunny had been. The bunny still looked slightly like one but it was now glowing blue with golden branches where the ears had been.

Coreta scolded the bunny, "Blupee! You're not supposed to change forms when anyone but mama is in the room. Ugh, look now Fairy has changed." The bird had turned into a glowing pink ball with blue-green wings.

"Erm, aren't those not supposed to exist anymore?" Paya asked tentatively.

Coreta smiled warmly, "My dear, I'm not supposed to exist anymore!"
