Another floral spring day welcomed Hinata as he pulled open the rattling blinds which hid the morning sun. Outside was a flourishing sakura tree that seemed to dance in the light breeze. With his window already having been open, Hinata took in a deep breath of the subtly sweet scent that filled his room, remembering exactly why spring was his favorite season.

After taking one last look at the scenery, he rubbed his eyes and skipped off to get ready. Today would be another day of the same old schedule; not that he minded. Each day was a chance to practice volleyball and see his friends so really, Hinata had no complaints.

In little to no time, he showered, got dressed, brushed his teeth, and did his usual morning routine. He was left with only one last step...

Hinata - Good morning Kageyama :D Are you ready for today? Will you be at our usual spot?

It took no more than five minutes for Kageyama to answer back.

Kageyama - Yeah. Yes.

Hinata - Wow even over text you're so sour     >:( Get some enthusiasm, would you :/

Kageyama - Tch. Be happy I even responded dumbass.

Hinata - Don't "tch" me over text!

Kageyama - Tch.

Hinata - ಠ_ಠ

Kageyama - What the hell is that, it looks stupid

Kageyama - Kinda like you.

Hinata - Shut up and get to our meeting spot! >:/

Kageyama - Yeah yeah, whatever. I'll be there.

With that, both took off with a set destination in mind. As usual, Hinata rode his bike since he was farther away than Kageyama, who, living very close by, was able to walk down the road for a few minutes and arrive with plenty of time to spare. He definitely doesn't use whatever's occupying his head — whether it be brain or air — since he gets there 30 minutes early everyday and waits when he could just leave at a later time.

Either way, as Hinata comes pedaling down the road at a slowed pace, Kageyama is always there to 'greet' him. Though Kageyamas definition of greet is far from what you would expect.

With a seemingly permanent scowl, he stood silently at a fork in the road until Hinata came to a stop. "About time, I always have to wait out here forever."

Hinata hopped off his bike and looked up at the setter. "I may not be smart-"

"No. You're not." Kageyama laughed to himself, enjoying getting the shorter angry.

"Let me finish! I may not be smart but I can at least figure out that leaving later means you don't have to wait as long." Hinata crossed his arms with a content face. As if he had just told Kageyama the secret to life.

Unfortunately, Kageyama didn't take well to Hinata's wisdom. "Of course I know that but how exactly am I supposed to stay home when all you do is text me until I leave?! I've even lied about leaving before and you somehow knew. It's weird..."

Hinata opened his mouth to argue but decided against it, choosing to pick his words carefully. He thought trying to stay calm would help him win the apparent argument. "Then ignore my texts and leave when you want," he shrugged, "It's not like you can't turn your phone off."

With a quick hit to the side, Hinata groaned out. "What was that for?!"

Kageyama started walking ahead, acting as though nothing had happened. "What do you mean?"
