"What have I done wrong Damien?" I cried clutching your shirt. Like it was my only means of survival.
Because it was.
"Let go off me Lex." You said, your voice so cold. I could hear the shatters of ice cracking to the floor at every word you spoke.
My heart churned.
Oh no..
"Please don't do this to me, I beg of you..Please.." I cried, my tears flooding the ground. Placing my hands on his shoulders.
I shrinked in fear as the stares of passersby burned me.
I couldn't blame them.. It wasn't a usual scene, seeing a lady in gold dress on the street of Elysian avenue with a little baby girl in her hands and tears on her face.
Flinging my hands off his shoulders, I stumbled back, gripping Ella-my baby closer to my chest in fear that she may fall as the unexpected force.
Steading myself, I raised my head up, coming face to face with him.
"You pushed me Damien." I whispered trying to believe that he couldn't have done it intentionally.
He kept mute, wearing an unreadable expression.
Maybe it wasn't worth the tears after all...
Just as I was about to turn my back and head for the hospital.
I saw him....my worst nightmare
He stood right there...
