On the icey dance floor

In front of the highest tower
You clutched my hand tightly
As we walked on the street
You stole moments with me
As the curtains falls
You hugged me close
When I was sad
Whispering soothing words
When we watched movies
You watched me instead
Tracing every outline
Of my endless flaws
You feed me
When I was tired
You encouraged me
When I was weak
You caught me stealing glances
Only to tell me
You were about to steal one
You let me cry on your shoulder
On my worst days
You made me hot teas
When my cramps came
You never told me
You loved me
Though your actions
We're louder than a thousand
I love you's
You never stopped caring for me
Neither did I for you
Then realization dawned on me
That it was just an illusion
Though it's sad to know it wasn't real
