Dean was pushed to the table in front of us, where my hands finally slipped and I fell.
Feet crashed down around me, I curl into a ball, scared that one of the shoes above me will end up turning me into another smear of blood on the floor.
Once they leave, the threatening, fatal shoes stomping away, I dare to look up at the table above me. All that is audible in the room is the soft sound of Dean's breathing.
A soundproof room, so no one hears the screaming.
Its quite obvious what I have to do now, if I want my stunt to be for any purpose.
Before I begin to search for a way to climb up though, the door opens.
Quick and precise steps tap the floor until they stop at the table.
Then they leave, as sharp as they had come, shutting the door with a click.
Dean's screams began shortly after.
And they continued...
For.
Fifteen.
Minutes.Fifteen.
And.
I can still.
Hear them.
Even after he stopped.
Breathing.
And the room went silent.
And the door unlocked.
And they took his limp form away.
I still heard his screams.
Make it stop
Please
I can't take this.
Oh my gosh.
Why is this legal?
I still hear him.
They echo in my head.
Make it stop.
Please.
Make.
It.
Stop.Someone was screaming, their voice cracking and bloodcurdling. Nothing in comparison the the screams that had torn from Dean, sounds that seemed animal, from some unknown creature.
My throat was soar, my face wet, the bitter taste of tears in my mouth.
I guess the new screams were mine.
Someone had just died.
Dean had just died.
And it wasn't quick.
It wasn't painless.
It wasn't humane.
And I couldn't do anything.
I just...
I know.
And he was...
Umhm.
And
It wasn't
Fair
But that's life.
He didn't deserve it
No one does.
Not like that.
It wasn't right.
It was wrong.
And there's nothing
We can do."I wanna go home."
"Don't we all."
"Dean never will."
