Aaaaargh run for the hills, it's Friday the 13th. And we can all expect another tired old re-run of an aptly named horror film.
But, (there's always a but, usually a big one, that we like. I like big buts, and I cannot lie...) -shut up Brian!
BUT (<--- a big one, and we liked it), the Old English version is Frīgedæg ‘day of Frigga’, which is named after the Germanic goddess Frigga. In German mythology, she was wife of the supreme god Odin and goddess of married love and is generally equated with the Roman goddess of love, Venus.
So, Friday is love. And we all generally love Friday.
