Skiés, Daughter of Hades and Persephone, Goddess of Shadows and princess of the underworld, yelled at her mom, "Mother! You can't make me go there! That's....torture! I'd rather suffer in the depths of Tartarus than go to some....idiotic building for tiny mortals where they're tortured."
The dark haired bringer of death sat in front of her daughter, "Skiés, we do not have a choice. Your uncle Zeus said somegod had to be cast down to the mortals to see how they live, and stupid Heracles decided that you were the perfect candidate, and of course Zeus agreed with his 'perfect son'," she replied, the last part said in the most sarcastic way possible.
"But, can't father do something?" Skiés asked in desperation, the look on her face showing she clearly didn't want to go.
Persephone shook her head, "There's nothing we can do. Unless you can possibly talk to your father about it, but I don't think he can do anything."
"Ugh." She got up and stormed down to her fathers study."Skiés! Lovely to see you!" The god of the dead smiled when he saw his daughter, she was the splitting images of mother when she spent her time in the underworld, apart from her eyes, they resembled her father.
"Don't give me any of that. Why am I going up there?" The teen goddess demanded.
"Well- my dear brother wanted an update, and no one can trust him to go there and not come back with multiple children, so Heracles decided to nominate you. And as I don't have a throne on Olympus, I can't do anything," he raised his hands, "It's out of my control."
Skiés eyes lit up in frustration, a glare of purple simmering through them, "Why can't Melinoë go? Why me-? Wait- what are you actually doing down here? You normally have breakfast with us..."
"Well, there's this one guy called Markus, and I'm trying to decide whether he goes to the fields of punishment, or Tartarus," the god replied.
His daughter sat down next to him, "What did he do?"
"Well..." Hades explained exactly what he did.2 weeks later...
"Well, off for your first day at mortal school, how do you feel?" Hermes asked, interviewing Skiés for HephaestusTV.
Skiés smiled a scarily sarcastic smile, "Oh, I bet this will be the time of my life, I can't wait to die of boredom!"
Hades, who was standing in the corner watching with a menacing look on his face, smiled slightly and whispered under his breathe, "that's my girl."
"O-okay, well, good luck... Hermes replied, being quick to pack up his equipment and fly off.
Persephone walked over to her youngest daughter and engulfed her in a hug, "Good luck, remember, control your powers and don't sca-" she was cut off by Hades.
"Seph, that's basically telling her to not be herself," then he turned to Skiés, "Be yourself, and remember, you have my full permission to kill anyone if they even look at you the wrong way."
Skiés nodded in reply, and Persephone just shook her head.
"Well, bye! I'll see you soon..." She turned and started going towards the mortal high school and the family she would be staying with until this project was over...
