A THROBBING PAIN OVERCAME your senses, jolting you awake. With a quiet hiss, you brought a hand up to your head, massaging your temples. Ow, that hurt. In fact, everything hurt. From your head down to your feet, everything was sore. Speaking of feet, you had no idea where you got these cool new shoes from, but they rocked.

You pushed yourself off the tree you were sleeping against just prior, you weren't even in your own house. You were somewhere in Cindersnap forest, not far enough to miss Marnie's barn from where you were at. You decided to stop by her place just for a bit just to refresh yourself, jog up your memory, because you had no recollection of what happened last night, all you knew was that you were drunk, and passed out in the forest.

Before your knuckles could tap against the door, the door swung open, and there Shane was, momentarily surprised before he returned to his usual scowl.

"What do you want?" He grunted, leaning against the doorframe. He took a moment to look you up and down, silently judging you.

"Jesus, you look shittier than me, and that's saying a lot." He snorted, and you rolled your eyes, waving that comment off. He stepped away from the door to let you pass through, and you stumbled into the barn house. Your eyes drifted across the room, looking for Marnie, and you found her, hunched over the microwave, like she always is when she's not standing behind the counter for long periods of time.

"Hey Marnie, I hope you don't mind, I'll just, sit here." You sat on the floor, sighing from how exhausted you already were just dragging your feet to her house. Marnie smiled in response, an unusually awkward smile.

"Good afternoon, hon. You sure put on a show last night."

You raised a brow in response, "What? What are you talking about?"

Marnie blinked, "Don't you remember?"

You shook your head, and she sharply inhaled. That got you wondering, just what did you do last night?

Marnie cleared her throat, "Well, you can sit over there. I'll bring you breakfast."

You tilted your head at the sudden change of topic, but you didn't push. Instead, you decided to inspect yourself in the mirror. You raised your arms up, staring at your new set of clothes. You got a new jean jacket, that's pretty cool too. Wherever you got it from, you don't recall, but either way you were going to keep it.

You sat down and ate breakfast with Marnie, who openly dodged the topic of last night. She'd clear her throat and look away, scratching her neck. "So how are your chickens?" Did something happen with your chickens last night? Damn it, Marnie, stop dodging my questions!

After a while, you realized you were getting nowhere with Marnie, so you left, not after thanking her, of course. You walked around town in your awesome new clothes, earning giggles from any passing townfolk. You were getting sick of this, you felt like an outcast, and you were.

In the midst of your internal moping, you came across Sam, who- damn, he looked fine without his usual jean jacket. You waved at him, and he turned to you, surprise etched on his face. Then he was red. He was red, what? Why? You were confused, so you waved him over.

"Hey bud, you don't look so good, you alright?" You patted his shoulder, and he visibly flinched away. Ow, that hurt. He soon realized how rude that must have been and quickly apologized.

"Ye-Yeah! Sorry, uh, I'm just uh, y'know from last night." He gulped, absolutely refusing to meet your gaze. You were ticked now, this had something to do with last night. Again. What the fuck did you do last night? You decided to get to the bottom of this.

"Sam. What happened last night?" You pressed, holding his shoulders. He just shrugged and continued to look at what seemed to be a very interesting bush. You clicked your tongue,

"Sam. Look at me."

"I'm late for work- bye-!" He ducked and wriggled out of your grasp, booking it for Joja mart, covering his face with his hat while doing so. If you weren't pissed before, you sure were now. You groaned into your palms, God, everyone was difficult. You phoned Abigail and Sebastian, wanting to confront them about this. You three decided to meet at your usual spot in the saloon.

Later that night, you all gathered around the pool table. Sam was unusually late, but this was perfect. You asked the two goth friends about what happened last night. Abigail responded with a loud snort, and Sebastian just shook his head.

"Dude, you were crazy!" Her snorts were turning into full blown laughs now, but you patiently (not really) waited.

"Uhuh, and then?"

"You really don't remember?" Sebastian piped in, and you turned to him, and exasperated look on your face, "Of course I don't! I woke up passed out in the forest!"

You turned to Abigail again, "So what really happened?"

"Well, for starters, you drank a lot."

"What gave that away?"

"And then, you got up on a table."

"Uhuh."

"You shouted something about wanting to bang Sam? I don't know?" She shrugged, and you froze. What? You gulped and motioned for her to continue.

"It was really funny you should've seen it, a lot of people left after you said that, and then you kissed Sam."

You rubbed the bridge of your nose, "Oh my God."

"Yeah, and you guys were just, man," Abigail whistled, "You two were crazy."

Sebastian nodded in agreement, and you could only hide your face in shame.

"That's not all, you two left after a while in the party, nobody knew where you went or what you did after that, but judging from your clothes, I can kinda take a guess." She smirked, gesturing to your clothes. Oh. Oh! That's where all the new clothes came from.

You buried your face in your hands and groaned, slumping into one of the seats. God, you were an idiot. No wonder he avoided you like the plague, no wonder everyone did!

Abigail noticed your depressing posture and rubbed your back, "Don't worry. I'm sure he liked it."

"Abigail!"
