XIII

MICK

I think I'm in love with her. 

"We're obviously together no?" I asked incredulous, We spend the last couple of weeks together, bonding and spending time together and it felt as if she was made just for me. It felt like I knew her somehow and that it wasn't just three weeks ago that I met her. It felt like forever. 

"I mean we never talked about it, so I wanted to ask you about it before we-"

"(y/n) will you be mine?" I interrupted her. 

She giggled, 

"I thought I was already," she then leaned in and kissed me. I could get used to this, then the kiss turned into a make out.  I could stay right here in this moment with her over and over again.

When I opened I came back from getting logs, I saw that the house was awfully quiet. Something's wrong. I called out for (y/n) and panic started to set in, I searched the whole house for her while she didn't answer me. Then I flung the guest bedroom door open only to find her lighting candles. I looked around the room and saw dozens of tea candles on the floor, on the shelves and on the night stand. The room smelled amazing, like vanilla, musk and everything that smelled like heaven. And then I saw her. She was in a red lace one-piece. It had a deep v cut which reached her belly button, perfectly cupping her breasts. She looked perfect. I gulped and she noticed me standing in the doorway. She walked towards me swinging her hips back and forth making it difficult for me to catch my breath. 

"Cat got your tongue?" She teased, grabbing me by the collar and pulling me into the room, shutting the door behind her. 

"You look-" she pushed me on the bed and began kissing me. Dam she was good. "You look absolutely breath taking (y/n)."

"I know." She confidently replied, I smirked, she could step on me and I'd say thank you. 

My turn. 

I grabbed her by the waist and pinned her on the bed, she whimpered as she saw me hover above her, fingertips tracing her bare skin. I held both of her hands above her head while with the other hand I took off the rest of my clothes as best I as could, which was effortless. 

"You know what you're doing huh?" she commented, 

"I just learned how to do this," I chuckled. I went back to teasing her, kissing her everywhere but where she desperately wanted, 

"Mick stop teasing," she panted, 

"Mmmh?" I played dumb, I wanted to hear her beg for it, "what do you want?"

"You know what I want." she said dryly, avoiding my eyes, , she broke free of my hold and inched my face closer to hers and kissed me again, I could feel her press her body on mine, she was eager, I was too but I wanted to see her break. 

"No I don't liebling, use your words," 

"I need you. Now." she replied, going for my pants, I stopped her while she was going to remove my belt. 

"That's not very polite, what do we usually say when we really want something?" I shot at her, smirking devilishly. She rolled her eyes and then whispered,

"Please."

"Was that so hard?" 

She looked down at me and raised her eyebrows knowingly a grin spread across her face, I rolled my eyes now,

"Shut up and just fuck me." she said. And you bet I put that blue box to good use.

"Can we stay like this forever?" (y/n) quietly said besides me. I was holding her in my arms, adrenaline still pumping from earlier,

"I really wish we could," I replied, I stroked her hair while she breathed besides me, I wish I could freeze time and stay right here forever. I could be anywhere, just as long as I'm with her. You know what, we're not going to be here in a few days, might as well do the most unexpected. Life's short I understood that, and even with the people you love the most. It could be taken away as easily as that. (y/n) was the most unexpected thing that happened to me but also the best thing. Now that she came into my life, I couldn't imagine myself living it without her. But I would have to. So right now I decided to savor the few days I had left, down to every second. 

"Hey wolfie, I'm going to make dinner okay? Why don't you go rinse yourself?"

"It may sound nasty, but I don't want to 'cause I smell like you." she smiled softly. I kissed her on her forehead and replied, 

"You sleep with me every night, don't worry about that. Go relax your sore muscles," I said with a wink. She slapped my shoulders playfully, got up and disappeared. 

I went into my closet where my stuff were, and fished out a little black box. I opened it and stared at its content, it dazzled in the candlelight, better than I expected, not too big and not too small, just perfect. I hope I had the right size. 

I shoved it in pocket after getting dressed and decided to finally go down and make dinner for my girl and I.

"Mhhhmmm smells delicious," (y/n) said, still drying her hair with a towel, she plopped down on a chair by the kitchen counter where we usually had our meals. I was starting to get really nervous. We ate dinner in silence as I really began to panic.

What if she says no?

What if she decides it's not the right time?

"Mick liebling is something wrong?" (y/n)'s gentle voice called out while she reached over for my hand. 

I looked up at her. Now or never Mick. 

I stood up, still holding her hand, and began to freestyle my speech, 

"(y/n) when I realized I woke up to being the last person on earth, I didn't expect to be alone with you. But I wouldn't trade the time I spent with you. Not for all the riches in the world. In the few weeks we spent, that felt like a lifetime, I realized I was completly head over heels for you. You make me feel loved and appreciated." She smiled softly at me and her eyes started to twinkle, 

"If it weren't for you I'd be lost, I'm so glad you came into my life. The world is ending in like what? Two days? So I don't want to waste anymore time and I want to make those vows."

I took out the little black velvet book, got on one knee and opened it. I looked back up at (y/n) who was sobbing, 

"(y/n) (l/n), will you marry me?"

She was still crying but she managed to nod and I slipped the ring on her finger, it fit like a glove. Whew. She pulled me up and kissed me deeply. After regaining her spirits, she said, 

"Oh Mick, it feels like I'm dreaming right now." We kissed again, as the happiness and the ecstasy settled in, I was over the moon. And she was beaming like the sun. How did I get so lucky?

"Till death do us part." I heard he whisper in a kiss
