Y/N

-ˋˏ ༻✿༺ ˎˊ-

Or so I thought. I had a feeling I was floating. Everything feels so ethereal. It's an indescribable feeling. I then feel something shake me. Like a rocking boat. But then my whole body started shaking. I am trying to open my eyes I really am but they just wouldn't. It felt like I wasn't in control of my body and I hate that sensation. And then I hear this very distant sound. It's all muffled as if I had my head under water. I focus on the voice and then it worked. It became clearer and clearer until I heard it was calling my name,

"(y/n)!" I try to move. I think my arm is moving.

"(y/n) wake up!" And I did.

I open my eyes only to see I was in my bed, under my covers, all warm and cozy. I move my arms and see that I was now in control of my body. How did I end up in my bed? Last thing I remember was...

"(y/n) it's almost dinner time! You slept the whole day, wake up, get changed we're going to the restaurant to eat." A woman's face was right in front of mine. I think I know who she is,

"Mum?" I ask, squinting at her,

"Yes that's me, glad to see you still have all your head with you, now get up we're leaving in ten minutes." She then hurried off my room and slammed the door shut.

I look around and see nothing out of the ordinary. What the fuck was happening? Was I asleep the whole time? But I remembered being with this boy... I tried my best to remember his features. I think he was blonde, tall and had blue eyes? I can't remember his name though. I grip my head, forcing myself to remember every details.

Tiger. Or something about tigers. Then my eyes widened at something. I threw over the covers and looked at my leg. It was completely fine except, it had red claw marks on it. I went to touch it and it doesn't hurt. I rub it and then it disappeared as fast as it came. How strange.

I glance over to the night table and see that my phone wasn't charging. Weird. I remember charging it the night before. It said low battery. I check the date to see that it was the day after my 18th birthday. It just keeps getting stranger and stranger. I finally decide to get up and go to the bathroom to get changed.

As the warm shower rinses my body, I close my eyes and try to remember what I could. I saw the boy, again. His face was all blurry, but I can hear laughter, giggles. We were around... my fireplace? He had a book in his hands. I see myself reaching over to swat him and notice something. I had a ring on my left hand. Wait what?

I opened my eyes and shook the images away. I then feel this strange sensation. Like... like something's been taken away from me. I felt like an arm or a leg was missing. I couldn't exactly pin point this feeling and I grew frustrated.

I step out of the shower and go to my bathroom mirror. I look and see how tired I look. My lips were chapped and I had deep eyebags. Great. I slept the whole day, but still managed to look like I ran on two hours of sleep and liters of coffee. I undo the towel and begin to lather lotion all over my body, after finishing, I wipe the excess on my butt and wince. Why did it hurt? I turn to the mirror and see that my butt was all bruised like I fell on it repeatedly. This is so peculiar. I tried to ignore what the little voices in my head were saying and got dressed and walked out the door to where my family was waiting.

After coming home from a long and exhausting family dinner, I went straight to my room to try and recall what happened. The images I had were so vivid but at the same time so distant. It felt real but surreal too. I laid on my bed and closed my eyes. I went back there to try and recollect as much information as I could.

The boy was there, and I saw myself there with him. We seemed genuinely happy. I heard his voice for the first time. He spoke a very soft English, but I knew it wasn't his mother tongue. He then added some German words here and there. I heard him call me 'wolfie'. Strange...

My brain allowed me to see one particular moment. We were right outside my house, laying on the frozen ground. We were staring at the sky, doing what seemed like counting the stars. We were in each other's arms, but we didn't talk. All I remembered hearing was:

"Will you remember me?"

"Always."

And somehow, I knew that if I ever saw him again, my heart would remember him.
