For a moment there was an uncomfortable and way too long silence between the two of you while Atsumu looked at you with a blank exoression, trying to process what was going on.
How silent Atsumu was being made you anxious, he wasn't one to keep his mouth shut for very long...maybe you weren't loud enough and he couldn't understand you?
Or he doesn't remember and now he's confused.
You panicked and tried to think of what to do next, but Atsumu reacted before you could do anything to get rid of this awkward situation.

"Wait...what?"
The setter seemed surprised and didn't know what to say.
A part of him panicked inside, not knowing what you were about to say next.
He was scared to answer and he thought that your only possible response could be rejection and if there was one thing Atsumu is scared of, it was getting rejected by you.
In the last few weeks Atsumu had noticed that he needed you in his life to function correctly and to be happy.

"So you don't...I mean you were pretty drunk so it wouldn't surprise me..."
you muttered, not able to shake off the feeling of dissapointment and sadness.
You were scared that you had started somethings that wouldn't be able to stop, if he really didn't remember this could have gotten very awkward very quick.

"I do...wait! Was it bad? Is that why you're asking?"
Atsumu asked, panicking even more while a thousand negative thoughts raced through his mind at a gigantic speed, causing him to completely freeze while he just blankly stared at you.
He really thought that it was good, well it was good for him so he had just assumed that you had enjoyed it too, but maybe you didnt.
And now you never want to see him again.

Seeing your nervous smile pulled the setter out of his thoughts and back into the cruel and scary reality that was this conversation at the moment.

"NO! It was good, that's why."
You replied and Atsumu was visibly relaxed and his gaze softened.
"Tsumu...that...it was the best night of my whole life! Wait- was it bad for you?"
You felt like a child that was confessing it's love, nervous and unknowing of what to say next, you just went with the flow at this point, saying whatever felt right and natural at the moment.

"No! It was fucking awesome....I was just scared that it would make things awkward between the two of us and the last thing I want is to lose ya
(Y/N)."
Atsumus hand was tightly holding onto yours while his golden brown eyes stared into yours.
"Do you regret it?"

Doubt filled the setters mind, while he just stared at you, waitibg for an answer.
Seconds felt like hours to him while you thought about what to say.
There were so many things on your mind and so many things you wanted to tell him.

"No, more like the opposite...I- I want more Atsumu...I can't stop thinking about you...I can' get enough of you and have craving only you can stop."
Your (e/c) eyes stared back into his, that held so much love in them.
"I love you Atsumu...I'm sorry that I kept you waiting for this long, I was a fool."

Atsumu didn't even reply, his actions speaking more than a thousand words when Atsumu slowly leaned in, closing his eyes in the process, his soft lips collliding with yours, his arms wrapped around your waist, pulling you clower to him while he kissed you passionately.
One of your hands went behind his head and you deepened the kiss while softly playing with his blond locks.

"I love you too (Y/N), this was definetly worth the wait."
He barely pulled away, his lips brushing against yours while he spoke.
You could feel Atsumus hot breath on your soft lips and it sent shivers down your spine, making you want more.
"I could have waited my whole life for you and it would have been worth it."
The setter muttered with the most genuine smile he had ever shown you.
In this moment he was really himself, not the cocky and arrogant version he used to seem strong and scary, when he looked into your eyes in that moment, Atsumu was just his sweet caring and a bit vulnerable self, and you loved that.
