This was a new room. One she hadn't seen before. Where was the room she shared with Dante three months ago? Wasn't that his personal room? If so, why did he tell her to come in here? If this was his booty call room, he was going to be in some serious trouble.

Curious, she explored finding a huge walk-in closet. It easily dwarfed the one she was using. This was gorgeous. Maybe this was the master suite. She would have to ask.

Dante left her to make a few phone calls so that they weren't disturbed. He wanted to cancel his meeting, but she told him to go ahead with it. Truth be told, she was exhausted.

The day hadn't gone as expected. Not that she arranged the day. But, the last thing she planned to do was profess her love. However, after seeing their child on the ultrasound monitor, she couldn't help it.

The evidence of the life they created made her situation very real. Their baby was proof of her night with Dante. The night he filled with so much love. It was indescribable. At the restaurant, her feelings just all gushed out.

There was no regret either. With her admission seemed to be this weightless feeling. How ironic. She was so concerned with feeling trapped and not having the ability to make choices, when telling Dante she loved him was so liberating and a choice all of her own.

For the first time, she felt happy. Happy without having to look over her shoulder. The idea of it was so foreign. But, it was her new reality. Along with this new realty was a promise for family.

How strange the word family. She never really knew it. Growing up with her mother and father should have taught her some things. In actuality, it taught her how to be alone. Her parents did a good job at neglecting her, so it became her only example.

Watching Dante and Gio with family, was eye opening. Even with Dante's tough exterior, she could see the fondness he had for his nephew and niece. How his defenses lowered when he was around them, despite his high standards for Gio in the workplace.

They were a real family. She knew the family she grew up in was messed up. And as far as her marriage was concerned, it was an even bigger mess. A nightmare to be exact.

But now, she had a chance. A real chance at creating something fantastic. Dante truly loved her with all of his heart and she loved him. That love created a new life. A life she couldn't wait to shower with all of her love. To watch Dante as a father too. Her gut told her, he was going to be the best dad ever.

How silly she had been. Thinking back on her antics was down right embarrassing. What did Dante think of her? Trinity's cheeks flamed recalling the dirty dress she wore for days. God, she must have stunk. Despite her embarrassment, she couldn't help but giggle over it a little. She may as well laugh at herself. What was done was done, and couldn't be undone.

"What are you giggling about," Dante came up behind her and tickled her sides.

"Ah! You scared me."

"I know. I enjoy it."

"Sadist."

"You have no idea."

"Stop it," she swatted at him, creating distance. "If you must know, I was laughing about the dress I wore for all of those days."

"Mmm, yes, the dress. The one I threw into the incinerator."

"Did you really burn it?"

"No. But I did toss it into the trash," Dante chuckled, his arms snaking around to pull her against him.

"I'm sorry."

"Stop saying that. I told you, don't ever apologize to me. Ever."

Trinity turned in his arms to face him, her hands smoothing up his chest. "But I owe you an apology for so much."
