The three of us sat down for dinner. We chatted about our days and what we did. After dinner, the boys cleaned up while I went to my room. I tried to pick up my Amazing Spider-Man comic but my mind was elsewhere. On Dallas. I have had feelings for him for a long time now. Maybe a year. Before I saw him as just one of the gang, a friend. Then I started to spend more time with him. Talking with him. I couldn't tell if he was opening up to me but we would have long talks. We both tend to speak in only sarcasm. Making each other laugh.
Once the sun was fully set, I get ready for bed. Putting on one of Darry's old shirts and a pare of shorts as pjs. The four of us, at once, crowd the bathroom. Brushing our teeth, I brush my hair and the boys clean up after their day. We basically had a system by now. Kinda. Making sure we all do what we need to before bed.
Finally I get in bed, turning off my lamp and lying back in bed. My eyes slowly close and my breathing becomes steady as I fall asleep. But the opening of my door makes me turn to it. Darry slowly pokes his head in. "Hey" he said softly. "Can I...." he didn't finish his sentence. I open my covers for him and he climbs in after shutting the door behind him. Ever since mom and dad died, Darry has been coming into my room at night. Or I would go to his. Me and Darry have been close ever since I was born. I guess we would both get lonely. Darry wraps his arms around my torso, his head at my chest. I ran my hand through his hair to smooth him. His fingers slowly tickle my back like what my mom did to me to help me sleep. And I slowly fall asleep, my fingers slowly stopping running through his hair.

As the sunlight shines into my room the next morning, I slowly began to wake up. I expected to see Darry laying in bed with me. But he wasn't. Once my eyes are fully open, I look over at my clock. He did have to be at work in like 15 minutes. I slowly get out of bed, walking out of my room and to the kitchen. Darry was dressed and eating breakfast. So was Soda. I'm guessing Pony was still in bed. "Morning" I smiled at my brothers. "Morning Peggy." Darry walks to me and kisses my forehead. "Have a good day Darry." I smiled before he leaves. Soda walks to me and kisses my cheek. "Bye Peggy." He leaves as well.

The day was pretty uneventful. Me and Pony ate breakfast and lunch together. We mostly spent the day relaxing. I read on the couch while Pony watched tv. If Darry was here he would tell us to do homework. Now that he wasn't, we could relax. When the time came to meet Dallas and Johnny, I got ready. Putting on a pare of jeans, a shirt and my leather jacket. I brushed my hair into a ponytail before slipping on my black converse. "Ready Peggy?" Pony asked as I walked out of my room. I nodded. We walked out of the house, walking past Johnny's house. He was waiting in the curb for us. Once he sees us, he rushed to us and started to walk with us into town to meet up with Dally. Pony and Johnny chatted as they walked. Pony in the middle of me and Johnny with me in the inside. I slipped my hands into my pockets as we walked. We walked into town. I spotted Dallas on a street corner. My heart starts to race at the sight of him. Leaning against a street lamp with a cigaret hanging from his lips. I took a breath to calm my beating heart. "Hey Dal, you don't mind we brought Peggy do ya?" Pony asked. Dal looks over at me with a light smirk. "Yeah of course not." I smiled a little at him before he stood up right. "What should we do Dal?" Pony asked. "I don't know man." Dallas chuckled. "Nothin legal man." He shoots me a wink before the four of us walk off. Dallas walks next to me as we walked down the sidewalk. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Dal offer me something with his hand. I glanced over at his hand to see a cigarette in between two fingers. I rarely smoked but as a greaser with was hard to escape it. I took the cigarette and held it with my left pointer and middle finger. Leaning over as Dal lights his lighter for me, I light the end of it and inhale a few puffs before pulling away. Taking the cigarette from my lips and blowing out the smoke.
We all walked to the nearby diner. Spotting a light blue and white car, Dallas leads us to it. He leans over the window, resting his arm above it as he spoke to the male inside. While my eyes drifted to the others around us. I took one last puff of my cigarette before I dropped it, grinding the soul of my converse on it to put it out. A group of greasers began a fight with one boy. The boy's attention turned to the fight and Dallas quickly walked away from the car, grabbing my arm and pulling me with him. He watched the fight, Pony and Johnny did too. But soon a siren started to flare and the three of us rushed off to avoid the fuzz. Dal still had his hand on my wrist, which he quickly pulls away once he realized it. "You wanna head to the DX?" I asked. "Since we're early." Dallas nodded and so did Pony and Johnny. "Why not?"
