Author's note: I will follow some of Thor 1 so this story isn't really AU but I'm changing a lot of it so it sort of is, I'm not sure but there is a bit of the Thor script here which I won't be doing often, I just thought it fit with where I wanted to take the story! Enjoy!

Analia's brows knitted together in ambiguity as she watched Loki storm away from her. The heavy tread of his coal black boots generating resonance throughout the corridor. How could he have possibly known about the ring? She let out a sigh and rolled her eyes when she realised.

He was there when Cassius presented it to her in the gardens. If only he had stayed for a moment longer.

"Analia? What happened?" Cassius asked, noticing the look of despair on her face.

"Loki thinks we're...well that we're actually in love." She stuttered.

"What? How?"

"He must have seen us in the gardens."

Cassius ran a hand through his hair.

"Well there must be a way to fix this, simply explain what happened-"

"Are you two coming?" Fandral's voice called as he appeared around the corner.

Cassius took her hands in his, turning her to face him.

"It'll be alright Analia, for now let us go teach a lesson to those horrid Frost Giants."

He squeezed her hands reassuringly and she nodded in agreement.

The ride to the bifrost was harrowing. Loki never looked in Analia's direction. Not once. This treatment from him was unheard of. And it hurt.

When they arrived at the bifrost, Analia inspected the large golden room, recalling her previous encounter here. Things had changed strikingly since then.

"What happened? Silver tongue turned to lead?" Volstagg joked at Loki who had became motionless in his tracks before Heimdall. The rest of the warriors entered, while Analia walked up to his side.

"You've gotten it wrong Loki." She uttered.

He scoffed again and brushed past her, following the rest of the warriors through the entrance of the bifrost.

"So dramatic." Analia sighed, tieing her cloak around her shoulders.

"He will understand soon enough." Heimdall said.

Analia smiled. "Thankyou Heimdall." She nodded.

He motioned for her to enter the bifrost, and he followed after her.

Heimdall gripped the sword and turned it, making the golden room spin.

"Be warned. I will honour my sworn oath to protect this realm as its gatekeeper. If your return threatens the safety of Asgard the bifrost will remain closed to you. And you'll be left to die on the cold waste of Jotunheim." He forewarned.

"Couldn't you just leave the bridge open for us?" Volstagg asked.

"To leave the bridge open would unleash the full power of the bifrost and destroy Jotunheim with you upon it."

"I have no plans to die today." Thor boomed, letting out a chuckle as Analia hit his arm.

"None do." Heimdall replied.

He rotated the sword the rest of the way and sent the eight of them to Jotunheim. His warning about possibly having to leave them in the frozen wasteland still ringing in Analia's ears. This was a mistake. But it was too late to turn back now.
