"It's about time." Analia whispered, smiling.

Loki chuckled and moved both his hands to hold her face before pulling her towards him and pressing his lips to hers once more.

"You are perfect." He whispered, his lips still against hers.

This elicited a laugh from her.

He pulled away.

"That sound." He said, his eyes not leaving hers.

"What?" She asked smiling, placing a hand on the side of his face, brushing his cheek gently with her thumb. Looking between his eyes and lips.

"I wish to always hear that sound. There's nothing in this realm quite like it." He said softly, removing her hand from his face and placing a gentle kiss on the back of it. Looking at his arm, she was reminded of what she saw in Jotunheim. How it had turned blue, but not frost bitten like Volstagg's. She shrugged away the thought. Now was not the time.

"Come." He said breaking the momentary silence, standing up and guiding her hand up to stand with him.

"Where are we going?" She inquired.

"Somewhere quieter."

She narrowed her eyes, causing Loki to roll his.

"A few mere hours ago I believed you to be in love with another, forgive me if I want some time alone with you that isn't in an open hallway my darling." He said, bowing jokingly.

"Alright, where are we going?" She conceded, a slight blush appearing on her cheeks.

Loki simply smirked, and with a flash of green, they appeared in the library.

He took off his jacket and wrapped it around her bare shoulders, he used the jacket to pull her in closer to him and placed his lips on hers once more, causing her to hum into the kiss.

After a moment Analia pulled away, making Loki groan out of frustration.

"Your brother-"

"I'd rather you not mention Thor when I kiss you."

She shoved him playfully, then reached up to kiss him once more.

"We still need to save him."

"There'll be time enough for that. Come." He took her hand and led her over to sit on the floor.

"What are you doing?"

He took her hands in his and placed them on his lap.

"Do you remember that night when we were children. We promised to always be friends."

"Yes."

"Well, that night...I- well I." He stuttered looking to the ground.

She placed her fingers on his chin and gently lifted his face to meet her gaze.

"Take your time, it's alright." She said twisting his raven locks around her fingers.

"That night." He took a deep breath. "I realised that my feelings for you were quite unlike anything I've ever experienced before. Since then I've been working on something."
