The day after Dewey was announced guilty of killing Cassandra, was the day that he was set to be executed. Allie, and the guard decided that it would be best if he was to be shot in the middle of the woods. Obviously there was some uproar about this, some of the town agreed that he should be killed for killing someone and that it was the correct punishment, but others believed that killing him was just as bad as the crime he had committed, people understood that was he did was wrong but they believed that using the same punishment against him was also wrong.

Whilst Allie and the guard were out punishing Dewey for the murder he had committed, Harry and Octavia woke up together happier than ever, despite the current events that were taking place.

"let's get to know each other," Harry spoke as the two were sat at her kitchen dining table eating breakfast.

"we already know each other," Octavia laughed, confused as to what he was suggesting.

"what's your favourite colour?" harry questioned, the two had undeniable chemistry but they had stopped becoming friends years ago and perhaps harry just wanted to make up for the lost time.

"purple," Octavia bluntly replied.

"what's your favourite animal?" harry asked another basic question.

"probably a flamingo, i really like flamingos," octavia basically laughed at herself, still being confused as to why he was asking such basic questions.

"what's your biggest fear?" harry asked another question.

there was silence between the two. Octavia was just staring down at her empty plate, not answering the question. it looked like she was thinking about it, decided whether or not to speak on it

"you don't have to-" harry started to apologise for asking the question.

"no don't worry about it, it's fine. it's just my biggest fear is happening to me right now. ever since my mom left i've feared that i would be abandoned by my dad, or that something would happen to my family and i would never get to see them again, my biggest fear is ending up alone," octavia opened up to harry, the whole time she didn't move, her eyes stayed locked on the empty plate, she didn't want to make eye contact with the boy that was sitting opposite her.

Octavia thought that for a moment she had blocked that out, that she had forgotten that she probably won't ever get to see her family again, but it had all came back to her. she knew she wasn't completely alone, she had friends but all she wanted was to see her father and her younger sister.

"you know you're never alone, not as long as i'm here anyway. i promise you you won't be alone," harry spoke, octavia finally looking up at him and slightly smiling.

"i know it's just hard not being able to see my family, kinda makes me hate myself for taking them for granted," she continued.

"let's forget about that, we don't have to talk about it, i didn't mean to make you upset or anything," harry felt guilty for changing the mood.

"it's fine don't apologise," octavia reassured harry.

whilst the two were having the deep conversation, elsewhere Dewey had been murdered. It was done in a roulette way, everyone had a gun pointed to his head and they all shot at the same time, so no one knew who actually shot him. however, that plan failed. everyone had shot at him the first time but nothing happened, he was still alive. so the group went to do it a second time, Grizz not liking the idea and so Allie took his place. That time it had worked, Dewey was now dead.

the group were pretty shaken up after that whole experience. no one knew what they were getting themselves into. they all believed that he deserved it but they didn't realise how guilty they would feel.

that night they all sat in Allie's living room, they rarely spoke to each other, jason was playing video games, the others watching him. the room was filled with awkwardness and guilt. they had no idea why they felt so guilty for giving someone something they deserved.

whilst that was going on, Octavia and Harry walked into Allies house. Octavia wanted to make sure Grizz was ok, and Harry came along not wanting the girl to be alone, and he was also desperate to talk to Allie.

Octavia walked straight over to Grizz, the two hugged each other. the two were always each other's comfort. no matter if they were on good terms or not, they would always comfort each other, knowing that they feel completely safe and calm with each other.

"are you ok?" she whispered to him as they sat down next to each other on the sofa.

"yeah, yeah i'm good, i'm fine, thank you," Grizz smiled at the girl.

"Allie can we talk?" Harry asked Allie who had her eyes focused on the tv screen that was infront of her. all she gave in response was a nod. based on that he knew that she wouldn't go and talk to him alone and so he had to say what he wanted to say infront or everyone.

"i'm sorry, i'm so sorry for what happened and i'm so sorry for what i said o never meant for any of this to turn into-" harry started.

"get out," Allie cut harry off.

"what," Harry was slightly confused at her outburst, it wasn't like he was trying to cause harm he had just came to apologise.

"get out-" she stated again, tears starting to talk from her eyes. it was obviously a sensitive subject for her and the last thing she wanted was pity.

"yeah, yeah, i'm now going," harry stated, looking over at octavia, wondering if she was gonna follow.

"i should probably go to," she said quietly to Grizz

"i'll come with you," Grizz said, standing up from his spot on the couch. the pair both walked over to harry and left Allies house.

A few hours had passed, Grizz, who was staying at Octavia house, crawled up into the bed he was staying in. He felt so bad for what happened earlier that day and just wanted to erase the memories of it. never did he think he would ever have to execute someone, he never thought that things would ever get that bad.

Octavia and Harry barely spoke, they would do that a lot. everything that was going on right now was a lot for both of them and so they found themselves not talking to each other for long periods of time throughout the day. they didn't mind it though. they both loved that they could spend so long with each other without talking and it never got awkward.

they knew that from this day the whole town would change. everyone feared what would happen if they even tried to step out of line. everyone also hated what this town had become. no one wanted to live in fear, but that's what was happening. no one wanted to live under Allies rules, they didn't want to have someone ruling the town, they didn't want someone making every decision, assuming what was right for everyone. everyone hated everything that this town had become, and it was probably only going to get worse.
