The girl was now sitting outside the church calling her father, she knew there was no chance that he would pick up but hearing his voice through the voice mail was enough to make her happy.

"You've reached the voice mail for Daniel King. I'm currently busy so please call again later," the sound of her dads voice made her smile. She was so desperate for help, she was so desperate to see her family again.

She looked around at the people who were crowding around the town and saw Allie, she was on her phone obviously doing the same thing Octavia was doing seconds ago.

Meanwhile, people were raiding shops trying to get enough food for them to survive, no one knew how long they were going to be trapped for. She was lucky that her house was full of food already, due to a smell in the town Octavia's father had stocked the basement with food, not wanting to go out in the smell. Octavia also had stocked cans, after her mom had left she didn't want to leave her house and so she decided to buy all the food that would last her a life time if she ate it carefully.

Whilst everyone was raiding the supermarkets she decided it would be a good opportunity to raid the pharmacy. Due to events from earlier in the year, she had been put on anxiety medications to help her cope, she was running out and in the situation she was in she wanted to be prepared.

She walked into the store to see Cassandra already trying to push away the metal barricade that was blocking the medications, instead of questioning the blonde girl she decided to help her push it open but they had no luck.

"Jesus do you have like a drug problem or something," Gordie said watching the two girls trying to get their way through.

"Can you just help us, we'll explain later or something," Octavia said desperately.

She turned her head to Gordie and then to Cassandra who now had blue lips.

"Your lips they're blue," the boy was confused as to what was happening.

"Are you ok?" Octavia was concerned about the other girl. Cassandra started feeling her face with a worried expression.

"Can one of you take me home, I have to go home." she said.

"Cassandra what's going on right now?" Gordie seemed genuinely concerned for Cassandra.

"It's a congenital heart defect," she pulled her shirt open slightly.

"Now can you please take me home," she said, Gordie grabbing the girls arm and taking her away.

Octavia was left standing alone in the pharmacy confused. She had no idea what just happened and she had no idea what happened with Cassandra.

After more minutes of trying she was able to barge the barricade back slightly but enough for her to fit through it. She grabbed as much medication as she needed and shoved it into her bag. She was tempted to find medication for Cassandra but she had no idea what she would be looking for and she didn't want to be stood there incase other people came running in.
