It had been 10 days since the gathering at the church. 10 days since Emily had died. 10 days since Octavia had lost all hope.

For all of them days Octavia had not left her house, she barely even left her room. All the lights were out and all the curtains were shut, she wanted to block herself out from everyone else. It was completely silent. During the day she would sleep as much as she could, and then she would call her dads phone. It wasn't healthy for her to keep doing it but she just wanted to hear his voice. At night she would get onto her roof and drink alcohol. She would go to the alcohol cupboard, pick one out and by the end of the night she would end up with nothing left of it.

After 10 miserable days inside she decided to leave her house. As soon as she stepped outside the sun blinded her. She shielded her eyes from the sun and stumbled down the steps. It was clear the girl
was still drunk and when she was drunk she was back to her old self, the self that wouldn't shut up and spoke her mind. The her that everyone knew and loved.

She made her way to the green and stood there watching people meditate. She had no idea why they were doing it but she found it mesmerising to watch them. She stopped staring at them when she felt someone stand beside her.

"What do you want?" She asked slurring her words.

"why are you drunk this early," Harry laughed at the girl, putting his hand on her arm.

"I've been drinking for 10 days straight don't be surprised" she brushed his arm off her.

"Wouldn't take you for a drinker," he stared at her, amused that she was speaking to him.

"Well what else can you do when you're stuck here with no friends and a house pretty much filled with alcohol," she laughed.

Harry didn't understand why he was intrigued by the girl, he didn't know what it was about her that he was drawn to. He had never seen this side of her before, he though she was quiet and kept to herself but that was obviously just an act.

"You know what, i'll be your friend if you tell me why you've been mute for the past few months," he told her.

"maybe one day, right now i need to go before i end up punching someone in the face," she looked towards Campbell, and then walked away from the boy. Even after being broken up for months she still didn't want to face him. She knew he was evil and cruel and she had no interest in being friends with him. However, she was interested in being friends with Harry, he seemed to be the only one to be vocal and speak out against Cassandra with her.

She started walking away but the sky quickly turning dark caused her to stop in her place. She didn't know if her mind was playing tricks or if an eclipse was actually happening. "the fuck," she mumbled to herself.

Around her were confused teenagers, they had asked
God for a sign and they believed this was one. She may not have been the smartest at school but she knew this was no sign from God.
