.another mundane day

After Campbell had also been arrested the whole town was waiting to hear what was going to happen next, what was going to happen to both Dewey and Campbell. Campbell was chained to a heater in one of the rooms in Octavia's house. As much as she hated Allie, she had to see her a lot due to her coming over as both boys were locked up in her house. This obviously mate Octavia feel unsafe, in the basement was one suspected killer and on the floor of her bedroom was another suspected killer.

Octavia and Harry were sat in silence on her bed, not knowing what to say to each other. Harry truly believed that it was Dewey that had killed Cassandra, he had doubt in him that it was Campbell, only because they had become friends. Octavia on the other hand didn't know who to believe. She believed that Campbell was more capable of killing someone than Dewey, but then again she didn't know who she could trust. Neither of them voiced their opinion, knowing it would cause a heated debate. The only thing they were able to agree on was that Allie trying to control the town, they both believed that she wanted to take the role that Cassandra had tried to take.

"What do you think Allie is going to do?" Harry broke the silence.

"I don't know, I don't think she even knows what she is going to do, I don't think that she wants to make a decision," Octavia spoke up.

"I don't thinks she capable of being a leader, she doesn't know what she's doing, she thinks she does but she doesn't. She has this so called guard committee around her that makes her feel powerful, and makes her feel like they can run this place. I hate it, i hate what this place is going to become," she released her emotions to the boy sitting opposite her.

"i feel like you would make a good leader," he smirked at Octavia.

"i would rather not. i understand that there needs to be someone like in charge incase things get way too out of hand but for the most part i don't think there should be someone calling everyone into a meeting every single day, this place is going to get worse, and more things are going to happen, and honestly i don't think Allie is going to be able to handle it," she was now pacing back and forth in her room.

Harry had missed this side of her, the chatty side, the side that knew what she wanted and who wouldn't put up with anyone's shit. This was the side of her that he had fallen in love with as a kid.

The day had gone by very slowly, for everyone. Everyone wanted to know what was going to happen to both of the boys. Allie had spent some time alone with Campbell speaking to him, asking him questions, she came out of the room looking pissed. Octavia had been observing the girl for the past few days, in a non creepy way. She had noticed how little confidence she had in this situation, whenever she would get done arguing with someone or trying to get something out of someone she would always walk away then life her head up, as if to make herself seem more powerful.
