Octavia was heading to her first shift, which was to help cook in the cafeteria. She was glad this was her first one instead of having to clean places as the current state of the town after last nights incidents was a disaster. Walking down towards the school she had seen Harry and Allie's awkward conversation. Once again she decided to walk with Harry, it had become a habit.
"That looked awkward," she spoke up first.
"Yep," he just stared at the ground the entire time.
"Wanna tell me what happened," she was curious to know what the two had done to cause awkwardness between them.
"We got together, the night of my party, been pretty awkward ever since,"
"Oh," was all that Octavia was able to say. She was now the one staring at the ground. She didn't know why she was jealous, she had only just started talking to the boy again and now it's as if the feelings she had had for him before were all coming back.
"Well I got to go to the cafeteria, so I'll probably see you later or something," she quickly walked away from Harry, leaving him standing there watching her walk away.

That night everyone in the town was getting ready for prom. Octavia however, was just laying on her bed staring at her ceiling until Grizz came into her room.
"You not going?" he caught his friends attention.
"Nope," she stayed staring at her ceiling.
"Come on, it will be fun," he grabbed her arm and bought her to a sitting up position. He could see that her makeup was already done and she had made effort to curl her hair.
"You're pretty much ready, come with us," he begged her.
"I can't even put it on, it just brings me back memories of my mom," her eyes were already watering.
"Forget about that tonight, you've had this planned out forever, plus who's not gonna wanna look at you in that dress, maybe Harry will finally give you the attention you've been craving off of him," she hit his arm at the last part.
"Fine, give me a few minutes, meet me downstairs," he walked out of her room with the biggest smile.
She easily slid into her dress, she was surprised it still fit her the way it did the day her mom bought it for her. It was long and dark pink, her favourite colour. When she bought it she wanted some thing that would make her stand out, and this definitely did. She slid on her shoes and stood in front of her mirror staring at herself. It just kept bringing back memories of her mom. She had bought this for her the day that she had left her family.
