I woke up to a bright light being shone on my face, i was assuming it was just the day light but when i opened my eyes i was mistaken.
Gally.
Of course it had to be him, why was he here?
"Finally your awake." He was leaning against the wall, arms crossed with on foot placed on the stone.
"What do you mean finally? How long have you been here?" I sat up and leant on my elbows.
"I don't know how long actually but it's been a while."
"Stalker." I muttered.
"I came to check on you." He pushed himself of the wall, stood at my feet and offered out a hand.
I took his hand as he pulled me up. "Thanks but i don't need you to check up on me." I brushed of the dust from my clothes.
"It's the least i can do, come on Leah." He smiled slightly with a worried expression.
"Your the one who stabbed me."
"exactly so i have to check your okay." He crossed his arms across his chest making his muscles in his arm bulge. I couldn't help but stare. "Are my arms really that nice?" He lent his head down slightly to try get me out of the gaze I was in.
"Erm no...shut up." I pushed him back causing him to stumble slightly but regaining his balance.
"Okay." He laughed.
"You can go now." I pointed my arm to the door, well it wasn't a door but it was the closest i was going to get.
"No."
"What do you mean no?"
"your coming with me."
"no i'm not." I turned round trying to walk away. But he held on to my arm stopping me.
"You can say no all you want Leah, i'll drag you there if i need to." His face was serious, it made me slightly anxious.
"Gally. I'm. Not. Going. With you." I looked him directly in the eyes showing him i was also being serious and Disguising me being slightly scared.
Suddenly he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder, i couldn't see his face but i knew his was smirking.
"Hey, Gally put me down now." I yelled pounding my fists on his back. He just carried on walking with me. "I'll stab you in the back with my blade."
"no you won't." He laughed which made me more frustrated. I reached into my belt to grab my blade, only to find it was empty.
"YOU DICK!" I shouted. He just laughed more.
I'd given in trying to fight away from him, it wasn't working, but i swear once i was back on solid ground there would be a gun pointed at his head.
We had got to his place where i was not so long ago."You can put me down now asshole."
He put me back down and i was standing on my two feet once again. He stood in front of me, he was tall, why was he so tall?
"are you going to tell me why you've brung me here?" I crossed my arms and put more weight on my right leg, leaning that way.
"So i can make sure you don't die." He copied my stance.
"i'm not going to die."
"yeah not anymore."
I grunted in frustration. He started walking down the same hall he was before, i didn't follow him at first but then when he turned around to look if i was following, telling me to follow.
After saying hello the various people, walking through many rooms and halls ruined from the scorch we sat on the same bed we were sat before when Gally sorted my stab wound out.
"Do you seriously think i'm going to die?" I said in curiosity.
"No, but i still want to keep my eye on you."
"Why am i that dangerous?" I smirked.
"If you wanted to, you could probably kill me." He leaned back against the wall the bed was along.
"Good job i don't want to then."
"That's surprising." He turned his head towards the door showing his neck. He had some black line on it, almost looking like a tattoo.
I got onto my knees, still on the bed and leant over him to get a closer look at his neck. I put my hand on his cheek stopping him from turning his head.
"Leah what are you doing?" He said louder than usual.
"Stay still."I muttered why trying to read whatever was on his neck.
It read: Subject A9, afraid of the walls
I sat back down moving away from Gally in shock.
"Leah what is it?" He moved closer towards my face to get me to look at him. "Leah." He put his hand on my shoulder, the connection felt warm.
"You neck... You have something written on it, like a tattoo." I looked up to meet his eyes.
"What does it say?" He questioned.
"Subject A9, afraid of the walls. What does that mean?." i asked.
He moved his hand to his necks to feel where the tattoo was. "It's WCKD, They probably gave everyone a number in the maze, to keep track of us and to know who's who."
He moved my hair to one side over my left shoulder, so the right side of my neck was exposed. He held my left cheek in his hand, as i slightly lent onto it. He traced his fingertips along my neck, which sent shivers down my spine at the light touch. It's felt good i can't lie, but i'm guessing i had a tattoo as well.
"What does it say?" I asked. He looked me straight in the eyes and i saw fear in his eyes.
"Subject B8, Without a nose."
