Without a nose

We started leaving and i caught up to Gally. He stopped me from knowing more about Lawrence and that annoyed me. If he had no nose maybe he could have helped me with my situation.

"Gally wait up." I ran after him, he turned round noticing me then looked back to where he was heading once he knew my presents was beside him. "Who is that guy?"

"Lawrence"

"Yes i already know that, but i need to know more, because he had-"

"no nose. Wow hadn't noticed." Sarcasm laced in his words.

"Gally please i need to know, you know what it says." I moved my hair to cover my tattoo, not wanting anyone else to see it.

"He runs things around here, he's the boss. A crank bit his nose off a few years back, he's a crank. He's still sane though, he's not fully turned yet. He injects the serum into his blood to stop him from turning."

We were still walking but his pace got faster and faster, and i had to run to keep up with him at points. I was shocked by what he had just told me. Did that mean that if a Crank bit my nose and took it, i'd get infected? I was lost for words.

I stopped walking to collect my thoughts. Gally didn't notice immediately but it look him only 30 seconds to realise. He turned round and walked towards me. When he was close i could see his lips moving but all i heard was a humming sound of silence clouding my brain.

"Leah!" He shouted loudly breaking me out of the gaze.

"sorry." I said quietly before walking past him as fast as i could speeding off.

It didn't take long for him to catch up, but i couldn't tell if i wanted him to leave me or i actually stopped myself from the walking too fast so i could enjoy his presents.

"Gez, twice in 10 minutes. I must be lucky." I didn't have to look up to know he was smirking wildly.

"shut up." I couldn't help but smile. I pushed him away from me and i caught his shocked and happy facial expression.

"as if you just pushed me."

I had a smug look feeling like i'd achieved something by pushing him. I carried in walking not speaking. Then i got tripped up and almost fell fat on my face.

"Nice, real nice Gally. " eyebrows raised.

"Sorry, Princess. " He exaggerated that awful name to piss me off because he knew it did.

We got back to the place Gally stayed with thomas and the rest of them. They all decided to sleep on the floor, and i decided to join them. It was better than sleeping on the floor in Gally's room. It gave me a chance to get to know these people better. I hadn't spoken to the older guy yet, i didn't even know his name, Brenda mentioned him a few times but i couldn't fit the life of me remember his name.

"You sure you don't want the bed." Gally game behind me scaring the shit out of me.

"i'm sure, I want to get to know these people more anyways. They seam cool." I turned around to face hun, looking up into his eyes.

"Fine, i'll sleep it here too."

"No, you have a comfy bed, don't be stupid and use it." seriously? i asked myself why i put up with this guy i met 2 days ago.

"What happens if a crank comes eating your nose in the night."

"I have two guns and a blade, i think i'm okay."

"i don't care what you say, i'm not letting you out if my sight. "

"I have no energy to argue with you about this."

"Good." He smiled in achievement. Maybe it was better to be with someone i'd know for two days rather than people i'd know for less that one.
