XVII

I walked over to a chair which happened to be next to Frypan. I sat down and let out a sigh.

"what's up?" Fry asked, then he moved his chair so it was facing the side of me.

"I'm not sure if i'm honest. " It was strange, i was tired but felt like i could go on a mile run. I felt sad but not sad as in crying sad, it was just there looming inside me. The wave of it all came in suddenly and it was started to get on my nerves because i hated feeling like this.

We both paused a while, i was thinking and i'm guessing Fry was too.

"He's changed." He said in the quite.

"Who?" I turned my head to look at him for a brief second.

"Gally...Definitely from how i knew him in the maze."

"Elaborate"

"Well he walked around like he owned the place, no afraid to tell someone they'd done wrong. He's always been a great guy don't get me wrong but there's something different about him. Almost like he's got something to prove or he's got something more important to live for."

"I didn't know him in the maze, to be honest we only met a couple of days ago but he still walks around like he owns the place, likes to assert his dominance." I laughed and Fry joined in.

"Maybe it's you." He turned to me and he stared a while.

"What do you mean me?"

"Omg how did i not see it before." He bring his hands to his head rapidly.

"Fry what are you talking about." I leaned forward trying to get him to pay attention to what i was asking.

"This is exciting." He stood up from his chair and started skipping away with a smile on his face.

"Fry! Answer my question!" I shouted after him, but he just turned back and smiled at me.

I slouched back in my chair in defeat, what was he on about? 

Just as i found a comfy position, i closed my eyes waiting for sleep to take over.

"Wake up Princess, you need lessons."

I opened one eye, just to see if it was who i thought it was, and u was right. "Lessons? What lessons?"

"Stop asking questions will you." He held out his hand for me to grab and i took it despite last time. He pulled me up, me putting in minimum effort. His pull was that strong that i almost fell over. "Don't fall over princess." He laughed.

"Stop calling me that!" I shouted at him, dusting myself off.

He started walking and i followed him, i really had no effort to do whatever he was talking about but i've learnt it's easier than arguing. If Gally wants something, he'll get it.

He stood tall right in front of me with his arms crossed as he began to talk.

"We are all going within WCKDs walls so your gonna have to learn how to do combat."

"Are you serious?"

"Why wouldn't i be?"

"Because i've told you a million times i can-"

"Protect myself" He mimicked.

He started walking in a circle around me. " You still need to know how to fight without weapons." He said.

"Well i have weapons so i won't be needed it." I gave him a moody smile.

I took of and started to leave but was stopped my hun moving his body into where i was walking, so i collided into his chest. I moved back ever so slightly and looked up to him.

"Leah come on, it's not that difficult." He said looking down at me.

"I never said it was i just don't need it." I crossed my arms.

He swooped a leg around the back of my legs causing me to go plummeting to the ground only to be coughed at the last second.

"You do need it."

I gave in. Why i keep giving into this guy i will never know.

"Right now, I want you to come at me and knock me down, Without any weapons." He exaggerated the last part of the sentence.

I started throwing punches at him, but each one he either dodged or blocked. I even started using my legs but nothing worked. It made me feel useless, just like i did in the maze and i wanted to hurt myself for it.

"Come on Leah, your making this easy." Gally said, a smirked plastered all over his facing showing me he was enjoying this.

I paused for a sec as i death glared into his eyes, but all he did was laugh. I Was fed up of all of this, so i walked off.

No doubt a few seconds later i hear faster footsteps moving towards me.

"Leah what are you doing?" He said walking close behind me.

"Leave me alone." I yelled, not bothering to turn around.

I quickened my pace aiming to get away from him, but he only sped up too.

"Leah." I felt his hand connect with my arm which sent shivers down my spine.

He turned my body to face him as he placed the other hand on my other arm.

"What's wrong." He said softly.

"I'm fine, i just want a break." I replied trying not to make eye contact with him.

"Bullshit, come on you can tell me." He moved his head down a bit to gain eye intact with me.

"I said i'm fine!" I shouted, a bit too loudly causing everyone to stare.

I looked up at Gally and death stared him for around 20 seconds before waking off awkward from everyone else.

I went into Gally's room and just lied on the bed, looking up at the roof. It left me to think, but recently thinking has been worse. There's too many thoughts running round i can't tell which were sane and which were insane. I'd given up on finding out, sane or insane i don't care.
