"Got any ideas, X?" Watson screamed, barely audible through the sounds of people screaming and tables colliding. "Like hell I do!" Mr. X replied, before letting go of the table and allowing himself to be sucked up in the air. As he flew up, the monster roared at him, its massive teeth showing. Mr. X grabbed on to one of them, then took a hook out of his pocket and thrust it into the monster's nose. The monster screamed in agony, and Mr. X held on with all his might before pulling himself up. "Yo, dickhead," he shouted at the monster. He took his gun, and aimed it at the monster. "Give my regards to Lucifer, along with this little gift." He fired the gun, sending the bullet straight into its eye.

The monster grabbed its face, sending Mr. X flying off. He managed to grab a lamp, while the monster flew up into the hole above, closing it and taking all the people with it. Mr. X let go, landing gracefully on the floor.

"What the hell was that?" Amy backed out of the building onto the Manhattan streets. "That was a demon." Mr. X calmly walked out onto the streets after her. "Which one do you think it is?" Watson asked. Mr. X looked at the sky. "Judging from the horrible breath, I'm gonna go with Mephistopheles." Amy stared at the top of the building, shocked. "There... Th-that roof was ripped off!" She pointed at the roof, which was still intact. "Demon magic," Mr. X said. "It'll wear off and then that roof is exit." He looked at Amy. "As will you, now that you've seen that thing." Amy backed up. "You're gonna kill me?" Mr. X took a step towards her. "What, kill you? Never. But they are, and they'll do it painfully." He took another step. "I can keep you save. Protect you. And I'll make sure nothing happens to you. Just come with me." He extended his hand to her.

Instead of taking it, she signalled for a cab. "I don't know what kind of weird game you're playing to get into my pants, but I'm not playing along with your weird holograms and all that bullshit," she said. A cab rolled up to her, and she got in. "Creep," she said, before closing the door. As the cab drove away, Mr. X looked at the street. "So what now?" asked Watson. "She'll be back," Mr. X replied. "She won't last 24 hours without us. He turned around, and walked to his car.
