Amy dropped the gun and walked towards Mr. X. "So, so gullible. It's pathetic, really," she said. "For two whole years, you just blindly trusted me, told me your greatest secrets, loved me for all I was -- when I was nothing but a lie." X looked up at Amy. "What are you on about, Amy?" he asked.
Amy laughed. "Neither of you realized, did you?" she said. "Remember our first training, X? Remember when you showed me the demons we were facing? You even talked about a team. Do you really not remember?" Amy lifted X's chin up. "Look at me, X. Surely your memory isn't that terrible." X avoided her gaze and remained silent. Amy spread her arms. "Did you really never wonder where Mephisto's partner was? How it was possible that Mephisto kept showing up alone? Did you never wonder where the heaven Lilith was?" Watson gasped. "Oh no..." she whispered.
Amy brought her face close to X's. "X," she said. "I'm Lilith."
The moment she said it, X went limp. He forcefully pressed his eyes together to prevent himself from crying, but it was too late. Tears rushed down his face as the first woman he had ever loved laughed. "I can't believe you couldn't figure it out by yourself, X!" she cried out. "God, you really are gullible. Do you not understand? Just... Look at you. Look at what you are. Nothing but filth. No identity, no real life... Nothing. And it's all your own fault. Not a single woman would ever want to go out with you." She took a few steps back. "Now, I'm afraid I must take my leave. Lucifer is anxious to hear about my success. I trust that my sex slaves will take care of you two." She turned around, and a circle of fire started appearing around her.
With all her strength, Watson pushed away the men holding her and quickly walked towards Lilith. She grabbed the gun from X's pocket, and put it against Lilith's head. "Not so fast, bitch," she said. Lilith stopped the teleport. "There is only one person who is allowed to ever hurt X, and that's me. You hurt him, you get to deal with me." With those words, Watson cocked the gun. "Oh Watson, you should know you can't kill me," Lilith said. "Maybe not," Watson said. "But at least I can fuck up that pretty face of yours." Without hesitation, Watson fired the gun. Lilith fell down with a scream of agony, her body burning up as storm clouds packed the sky. With a mighty roar, her demon spirit rose out of the charred remains of the body and ascended up into the sky. The men who had held Watson and X disappeared in a cloud of smoke.
X fell to the ground, only to be caught by Watson. "X, are you okay?" she asked. X dried his tears and quickly got up. "Yeah, I'm fine," he said coldly, but with a soft voice. "Don't worry, X. You'll find someone true someday," Watson said. "What's the point?" X asked. "It's not like the next one will actually give a shit." With that, he walked away. "Come on, Watson. We got a house to defend." Watson sighed. They were back at square one.
