"No need to cook tonight, I've ordered take-out." X turned off the stove Watson was cooking on. "I was cooking, X," Watson said, annoyed. "No need," X said. "I don't give a shit, X." Watson turned the stove back on, and resumed cooking. "We can store it in the fridge for all I care, you don't turn off a stove when someone is cooking on it." Watson looked at X. "And you could've at least conferred it with me instead of just ordering when I'm already cooking." X shrugged. "Didn't see the need." He turned around, and walked away to the bar. "Dinner's here in 30 minutes," he said as he left.

"You know, you really should drink less alcohol," Amy said as X poured himself a beer. "I've never seen you drink anything else." It'd been a week since James had left the house, and X's drinking habits hadn't exactly improved from it. "You ever seen me drunk or even tipsy, Amy?" X asked. "No, but alcohol isn't exactly healthy for your body and mind, either," Amy fired back. She'd settled in more since arriving to the house, and had become a staple of the household fairly quickly. "So far everything's working perfectly fine for me." X took a big gulp from his beer. "You know what? I'll go along. Could you pour me a red wine, please?" said Amy. X smiled, took a wine glass, and poured her a red wine. He took the glass, walked over to her, and handed it to her. "One red wine for the madame, served at perfect temperature." He sat across the table from her, and took another gulp from his beer. "By the way, where has James gone?" asked Amy. X looked outside. "He's... gone for a while. Don't worry about him."

"You two have place for one more?" Watson came out of the kitchen, and poured herself some liquor. "For you, always," Mr. X said. Watson joined them at the table, and they silently drank their drinks. X stood up to put away his glass, when suddenly he froze in place, dropping his glass to the floor. Watson quickly got up, and ran over to him. "What is it, X? What do you see?" X snapped out of it, and looked outside. "James is back," he said.

Amy, Watson, and Mr. X rushed outside to the front gate, only to find James passed out in the open gateway, his clothes torn and clawed open. Amy rushed over. "Holy crap James, are you alright?" James slowly woke up, and X rushed over as well. "James, can you hear me? What's wrong? What happened?" James stared into the sky for a moment, then looked at X. "We're in big, big trouble," he said.
